After the penultimate season 4 aired, the official Animal Kingdom Twitter account tweeted: “Rest in Peace, our Queen. Tell us your favorite Smurf moments from #AnimalKingdom below.”

Many fans bid farewell while Barkin cheekily tweeted “Next episode Smurf’s will is opened. She left her boys a hit tv show.” She added, “Carry on Codys…well, maybe not all Codys.”

She sent off her tweet after liking some tweets that weren’t too happy about Ep John Wells’ decision to write off Barkin — who is the lead of the show.

Animal Kingdom Season 4 Episode 12 Review: Ghosts

What just happened? My mind is blown. That's what happened.

As expected, Smurf made her last stand at Jed's farm on Animal Kingdom Season 4 Episode 12, but how it all went down was completely shocking.

Smurf is one crafty lady!

While I fully believe she expected to die at the hands of Jed and his sons, she quickly came up with a Plan B when Pope saved her.

Her screaming diatribe at the boys was jaw-dropping. I seriously couldn't believe what she was doing.

She knew Pope wasn't going to kill her, and she had no intention of killing Pope. Shooting him was just a warning to let them all know she was serious.

And she knew that J would handle business, and he did.

She put Pope in a position to make it look

‘Filthy Rich’s Tate Taylor Hopes Evangelical Fox Series Will “Polarize In The Best Way Possible”, Talks Potential Guest Stars – TCA

  • Deadline
Filthy Rich has had quite a journey to get to Fox, but now that it is set to premiere at the beginning of 2020, show creator Tate Taylor is ready for the masses to see it — and he hopes that it will spark conversation in the current social climate.

“Anything I do, whether it is film or television, I like to bring together people with vast differences,” Taylor tells Deadline. “To have Fox be so brave to make a show about faith and religion and the difference we have in America but not do it in a satirical or bias way — that’s what I am most excited about. There’s no right or wrong. It’s not pro or anti-Christian.”

Written and directed by Taylor, Filthy Rich, based on the New Zealand series of the same name from Filthy Productions, is a southern Gothic family drama in which wealth,

Previously, 4:30 Pm: SAG-AFTRA says it’s looking into reports that some of its members have not received election ballots more than a week after they wre mailed out.

Presidential candidate Matthew Modine is among them.

“I have not received my SAG-aftra ballot,” he tweeted. “Funny how I received my dues notices – but not my ballot. Guess they’ll claim they didn’t know where to send it – like the tens of millions of dollars in ‘unclaimed’ residuals checks that aren’t sent out to members.”

There’s no indication that Modine and his supporters are the only ones whose ballots haven’t arrived yet. It might just be that ballots are slow in arriving on the East Coast. But one of his supporters tweeted, “When a candidate running for

Matthew Modine, Rosanna Arquette Allege Gabrielle Carteris Mishandled SAG-AFTRA’s Sexual Harassment Protections
The SAG-AFTRA presidential election has heated up with a pointed attack by six women on president Gabrielle Carteris and her handling of the guild’s response to the growing awareness of sexual harassment in the industry.

Allies of Matthew Modine, who has mounted an active challenge to Carteris, issued a detailed recap of her actions since the Harvey Weinstein scandal broke in October, 2017. Rosanna Arquette, Jessica Barth, Caitlin Dulany, Pamela Guest, Sarah Ann Masse, and Sarah Scott each assailed Carteris in a campaign message released Wednesday by Modine’s Membership First faction.

Carteris responded by accusing Membership First of ignoring the progress that has been made: “The timing of these complaints, made as our election ballots have just been mailed, is no coincidence. It’s deeply disturbing that the work our union has done — from individual members to our elected leadership — is being disregarded in Membership First’s

With the Season 4 finale not too far off on the horizon, things are really heating up on Animal Kingdom, with the cops always thinking they’re getting closer to finally bringing the Cody family down. Still always at least a couple steps ahead, thanks to some rather devious thinking on behalf of family matriarch Smurf (Ellen Barkin), the Cody boys are still trying to pull off dangerous jobs, all while J (Finn Cole) and Pope (Shawn Hatosy) are starting to circle each other for who could end up taking over the leadership position in the family, and Craig (Ben …

‘Drop Dead Gorgeous’ Team Remembers Late Co-Star Brittany Murphy at Outfest Screening
When “Drop Dead Gorgeous” was released in 1999, Variety’s review was less than glowing: “Taking bazooka aim at a barn-door-wide target — hinterland beauty contests — [the film] is a fitfully amusing satire that would have gained a lot of mileage from just a tad more subtlety.”

Perhaps. But then the movie gained a massive gay following over the past 20 years precisely because of over-the-top performances from a cast that included Kirsten Dunst, Amy Adams, Ellen Barkin, Allison Janney and the late Brittany Murphy.

“Right from the very beginning, walking into meetings as a very young man, I told them that this was a movie for people who are outsiders and don’t feel like they’re represented by regular movies,” director Michael Patrick Jann told Variety at a special screening of the film on Saturday night in Hollywood. “It’s an anti-mainstream movie and they still bought it for some reason.”
