Controversial television personality Bill Maher took to his blog this week to air his thoughts on Stan Lee and the industry in general, and let’s just say his comments are sure to make a lot of people very, very mad.

“The guy who created Spider-Man and the Hulk has died, and America is in mourning,” wrote Maher. “Deep,

William Goldman, who won Oscars for his original screenplay for “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” and his adaptation of “All the President’s Men,” died on Friday in his Manhattan home, according to the the Washington Post. He was 87.

His daughter Jenny Goldman cited complications from colon cancer and pneumonia as the cause of his death.

The two are considered to be among the finest screenplays ever written and exemplify Goldman’s range and versatility.

James Corden’s ‘Late, Late Show’ Lands in China

  • Variety
“The Late, Late Show With James Corden” is set to air in China. CBS Studios International has struck a deal with Chinese streaming giant iQIYI that covers current shows and makes past episodes available on demand.

Chinese regulators’ attitude towards foreign content has ebbed and flowed, though growing political control of the media appears to be the current direction. Another U.S. comedy show, “Saturday Night Live,” began airing on streaming platform Sohu.com in 2014. But this year the Chinese-made version of “SNL” was removed from the Alibaba-owned streaming platform Youku after just a few weeks of broadcast.

Politics and sex are typically no-go areas for Chinese shows, and satire of Chinese politicians is not allowed. Corden’s focus on foreign celebrities may have helped the show win censorship approval. Celebrity guests who have appeared on the show include Tom Hanks, Matt Damon, Arnold Schwarzenegger, David Beckham, Julia Roberts,

This is the first time cameras have spotted Chris meeting his girlfriend's dad since their romance was revealed earlier this year, though he has spent time with her mother, Maria Shriver, and brother, actor Patrick Schwarzenegger. If this sighting of the family outing is any indication, it seems as though the couple is still going strong. And though they...

The ‘Avatar’ Sequels Sound Terrible, But You’d Be Insane to Bet Against James Cameron

The ‘Avatar’ Sequels Sound Terrible, But You’d Be Insane to Bet Against James Cameron
Last week, it was reported (but not confirmed) that James Cameron has determined the titles of the four “Avatar” sequels he plans to release over the next 10 or 20 years, and, um, they’re pretty much what you might expect from a mad genius who intends to spend the rest of his time on Earth making epic sci-fi movies about giant blue cat people who have some kind of psychosexual connection with the trees on their imperiled alien planet.

In fact, the rumored titles are just insane enough to be real. It’s hard to believe that a studio would really allow the release of something called “Avatar: The Seed Bearer,” splashing Na’vi sperm across every movie theater marquee in the world, but there’s no doubt that Cameron has the balls to try it.

The A.V. Club proclaimed that “These Alleged ‘Avatar’ Sequel Titles Are Fucking Embarrassing,” while Vice suggested 50 snarky alternatives,

Linda Hamilton Wraps Filming On The Terminator

Actress Linda Hamilton has wrapped filming on the sixth installment of The Terminator series, with a new photo on Facebook showing the star of the 1984 movie enjoying her ‘wrap party.’

The original Sarah Connor will be returning to the sci-fi franchise for the first time since Terminator 2: Judgment Day, which also happens to be the last movie in this series that most of us can agree was actually good. With James Cameron also back on production duties, the feature looks very much like an attempt to restore the property to glory after years of lackluster sequels.

With the film scrapping every previous installment from the series timeline save for the first two, the projects invites obvious comparisons to the latest Halloween movie – another soft reboot which saw the return of the franchise’s original leading lady and the dismissal of less favored entries in the saga. And seeing how

Jessica Simpson Is Unrecognizable in Her Danny DeVito Costume, and I Have Yet to Stop Laughing
Jessica Simpson brought the LOLs with her Halloween costume this year. The singer and footwear mogul teamed up with her husband, Eric Johnson, to re-create a movie poster from the 1988 buddy comedy Twins. Jessica was unrecognizable in a bald cap and suit as she struck the classic pose as Danny DeVito, while Eric sported a matching getup while channeling Arnold Schwarzenegger; in the film, the actors play fraternal twins who are separated at birth.

Eric and Jessica, who is pregnant with the couple's third child, are certainly not strangers to the funny costume game. Last year, they dressed as Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson, and back in 2011, Jessica announced her first pregnancy with a clever "mummy" costume. See more of the best celebrity costumes here!

The Predator 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Will Include Deleted Scenes

The Predator 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Will Include Deleted Scenes
The Predator arrived in theaters this fall under much fanfare. And while most fans had fun watching it, they couldn't help but recognize that it was a mess. Now, the movie is heading home on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD just in time for the holidays. While we won't be getting a director's cut, at least not yet, this release does contain some of the infamous missing scenes we've been hearing about.

The Predator reshoots have become stuff of legend, and when the movie hit theaters this past September, most fans couldn't help but notice the haphazard why in which the film was edited. It appeared that huge chunks of exposition were missing, and the viewing experience was not unlike watching Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez's Grindhouse for the first time in theaters, only those missing scenes were intentional.

Now, we'll get to see some of the scenes
