Keanu Reeves is a beloved actor; however, many people don’t realize how awesome he is. There are countless times Reeves has just been a great human being. Learn about five of these times here. 1. He’s Given up Millions for Underpaid Staff Even though there is a rumor, some say an urban legend, that Reeves made a donation of $80 million to the staff in charge of special effects for the Matrix sequels, that isn’t exactly the truth. One of Keanu Reeves first roles in Hollywood has come back to haunt him. Off Broadway Review: ‘Be More Chill’

  • Variety
Technology plays a major role onstage in “Be More Chill,” the high school-set musical that uses a brain altering super-computer — masquerading as a popularity drug — as a plot device to poke satirical fun at the all-consuming, all-connecting dangers of faceless social media and needy groupthink.

But tech also played a backstage role in this production of composer Joe Iconis and book-writer Joe Tracz’s musical, now playing Off Broadway after a brief 2015 run at New Jersey’s Two River Theater. What Jersey couldn’t do for Iconis’ 80s New Wave-ish musical score, the internet has made up for. Its electro pop-inspired tunes (think “Stranger Things” with a hammily melodic Broadway through line) went viral, racking up 150 million+ streams in the United States alone, to say nothing of the fan art shared from Japan to New Jersey. Given the might of the meme, commercial producers took a chance on “Chill.”

‘47 Meters Down: The Next Chapter’ Teaser Trailer: More Sharks and Screams Are on the Way in 2019 — Watch

In no coincidence whatsoever, hours before Warner Bros. began screening “The Meg” nationwide, Entertainment Studios dropped the teaser trailer Thursday for its own shark film. “47 Meters Down: The Next Chapter” is the sequel to “47 Meters Down,” last year’s second-highest grossing indie ($44 million domestic). The follow-up, once again from British director Johannes Roberts, was greenlit in October, with the working title “48 Meters Down.”

47 Meters Down” starred Mandy Moore and was released three months before the premiere of her hit NBC series “This Is Us.” She and Claire Holt (“The Vampire Diaries”) played sisters vacationing in Mexico who encounter multiple sharks while scuba diving; only the former survived. “We’d never really seen a shark movie do poorly, so I felt good about it,” Entertainment Studios founder, owner, chairman, and CEO Byron Allen told IndieWire in 2017, when asked about the film that put him in the distribution business.

Watch Kris Jenner Sip a Sardine Smoothie on ‘Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts’ (Video)
Mmm, there’s nothing like a cool sardine smoothie to beat this August heat.

Momager Kris Jenner was treated to the gross concoction on James Corden’s late night show during a segment of “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts,” where guests have to either answer often-uncomfortable questions or eat a “Fear Factor”-level gross food.

When Corden asked Jenner who she would kick off “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” if she had to pick out of her five daughters, Jenner gave in and drank the sardine smoothie in lieu of dealing with the inevitable fallout of choosing one.

“I could not turn on one of my girls, those are my babies,” Jenner told Corden, who was amazed she drank it. “They would have understood,” the late night host said.

“Oh trust me, they wouldn’t have understood,

Keanu Reeves Says He Shaved His Legs for a 1980s Coca-Cola Commercial: I Went 'Method'
Keanu Reeves does not hold back when he takes on a roll, no matter how big or how small a part it may be.

The Destination Wedding star, 53, hilariously opened up about his commitment to the acting process, revealing that for one of his earliest roles — a 1983 Coca-Cola commercial in which he played a cyclist — he went full method.

“So, I had to play a cyclist, who’s a young kid, my father is my coach, it’s a big race,” he said while on The Late Late Show with James Corden Monday night.

Keanu Reeves takes acting seriously — so seriously that he even went method on one of his first-ever gigs, a Coca-Cola commercial in the 1980s.

“So I had to play a cyclist, who’s like, you know, a young kid, my father’s my coach, it’s a big race,” Reeves told James Corden on his talk show Monday night, explaining that the commercial is all about the father-son relationship between the cyclist and his coach.

But even the silly commercial, Reeves looked at as a great learning experience.

Alex Winter says Bill & Ted Face the Music is still moving ahead in 2019

Back in May it was announced that the long-awaited Bill & Ted 3 – a.k.a. Bill & Ted Face the Music – is officially a go, with filming slated to get underway in January.

While that was music to the ears of Wyld Stallyns fans, Keanu Reeves was quoted last month as stating that he has some reservations as to whether the movie will get made; however, his co-star Alex Winter doesn’t seem to share those concerns, telling SlashFilm that he still expects to begin filming in the New Year.

“We’re still in pre-production,” said Winter. “It’s still the same. Early 2019 is still the same. I’m still being told to hold those dates. That’s all I know. What I keep telling everyone is I don’t trust a movie as being made, frankly, until, literally, I’m watching it on cable two years after it’s done. Not

Tim Allen on Whether His ‘Last Man Standing’ Character Is Pro-Trump: ‘Kind of a Centrist’
Tim Allen addressed the elephant in the room during the Television Critics Association press tour Thursday, revealing whether or not his “Last Man Standing” character does, in fact, support President Donald Trump. And his answer is kinda a yes and kinda . no, and was informed by “Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston’s opinions on Potus.

“Calm down, it’s a legitimate question,” the lead said to his co-stars and the show’s creators, when a reporter posed the query to the new Fox (former ABC) sitcom’s panel.

“I think the guy is kind of a centrist,” Allen said of Mike Baxter. “I think the best line I heard was actually from Cranston from ‘Breaking Bad,’ whatever discipline he is. The dude is flying the plane right now, there is really no reason to get him out of the pilot seat until we land. So this guy is a practical guy,

18 Fun Facts about Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey

With Bill and Ted Face The Music currently in development, I thought it would be fun to do a Fun Facts list on Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. I already did one for Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. I just think it's awesome that after all these years we are finally going to get a third chapter in the franchise!

There may be a few things listed here that you don't know about and movie trivia is always fun! I also included a behind the scenes video and deleted scenes.

The evil character from the future is called "De Nomolos", which is Writer and Producer Ed Solomon's name spelled backwards. In an early draft of the script, Rufus was the villain. There was an alternate ending of the film involving a car chase scene between Bill and Ted and their biggest fears. It was obviously cut. It also involved Bill

The 7 Best Movies Coming to Netflix in August 2018

August has a well-earned reputation as the month when Hollywood ritualistically dumps all of its most shameful offerings into multiplexes, airing out the stink so they can start fresh with their Oscar hopefuls after Labor Day. Judging by Netflix’s latest batch of new arrivals, that tradition isn’t going to stop in the streaming era. Don’t get us wrong: The monolithic service is adding some great new movies over the next few weeks, and the ever-increasing influx of Netflix Originals means that we’re likely in store for a few exciting wild cards (we’re especially excited for Susan Johnson’s “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before”).

Nevertheless, this month’s crop is a strange grab bag of stuff that runs the gamut from an under-appreciated comic book movie, to a curiously unexamined Scorsese epic, to — um — one-third of the 21st century’s greatest fantasy trilogy.

‘Constantine: City of Demons’ Is Being Resurrected For In-Home Release

Constantine has had his problems when it comes to bringing the character from the pages to the big screen. The character was brought to the big screen in a not-so-comic book accurate film in 2005 when he was portrayed by Keanu Reeves. He then had his own live-action series in 2014 which only lasted a season. Yet, fans still love him all the same. So much so that the character has been revived in comic book fashion and has appeared in the CW Arrow-verse throughout the past two years. Now the character is back in a dual-release of Constantine: City of Demons. Get all the details below.

From executive producers David S. Gover and Greg Berlanti, The Hellblazer is back in an all-new twisted tale of mystery, intrigue and the occult with Constantine: City of Demons, a full-length, R-rated feature film based on the acclaimed DC animated series from CW Seed. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation,

Alex Winter Offers More Hopeful News on Bill & Ted Face The Music

Fans of the Bill and Ted films can breathe a collective sigh of relief, kind of. As you know, the progression of Bill and Ted Face the Music has been a rollercoaster of extreme highs and lows. Whenever we feel like we are making progress someone involved in the project comes out to put on the breaks and rain all over our happiness.

The latest naysayer seemed to be the one and only Keanu Reeves. Reeves came out and said that he didn’t know if it was a reality. And I mean, when John Wick says something, who are we to second guess it? The one person who can is Bill S. Preston Esq. himself, Alex Winter. He recently said:

“We’re still in pre-production. It’s still the same. Early 2019 is still the same. I’m still being told to hold those dates. That’s all I know.

Wesley Snipes Can’t Believe Studio Execs Wanted To Whitewash Blade

Blade is arguably the first modern superhero movie. Unlike many 90s superhero projects, though, it took the character seriously and respected the comic book source material. Not to mention it’s also a very cool and stylish pulp horror/action film.

So, it was definitely surprising when we recently learned that studio executives had asked writer David S. Goyer if there was any chance they could make Blade a white character. His response was quick and to the point, with the scribe telling them “absolutely fucking not!”

Now, Blade himself – Wesley Snipes – has weighed in on the idea and, as you can imagine, he’s not particularly pleased. In an interview with Yahoo, he said the following:

“I was not aware. I think I heard that from the article but I wasn’t aware that that was part of the history. Hollywood! Can you imagine the creative individual who thought of that?

Fox’s Gambit Movie Rumored To Have Been Cancelled

The bad news just keeps on piling in for X-Men fans today. After learning that Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants may be scrapped, we’re now hearing that Gambit has been given the axe and “definitely isn’t happening at this stage.”

This is somewhat surprising, as producer Simon Kinberg recently assured us it was going forward and production was set to begin on June 19th in Remy LeBeau’s hometown of New Orleans. Then again, given that the pic, which has been in pre-production limbo for what feels like forever now, has yet to secure a director, despite having gone through at least three heavyweight helmers – Rupert Wyatt, Doug Liman and Gore Verbinski – it was never going to make that start date.

Pitched as a supercharged heist movie – think Ocean’s Eleven…with mutants – Channing Tatum was set to take point in the film as the devilish Remy LeBeau,

Bill and Ted 3 Confirmed to Shoot in February, Financing Still Needed

Bill and Ted 3 Confirmed to Shoot in February, Financing Still Needed
A few weeks ago, Keanu Reeves made a lot of hearts sink when he stated that Bill & Ted 3 may not actually happen. Well, cheer up. Because that was just the sometimes dowdy actor speaking a little out of turn. According to others working on the sequel, it's definitely set to start shooting in February as the crew continues securing financing.

Whenever there is bad news about Bill & Ted, it's usually Keanu Reeves being the harbinger of doom. Throughout this long and arduous process, he has often claimed that the production was two inches from evaporating into thin air. Reeves has also admitted that some of these disparaging words come from the fact that he's not quite sure how to reprise the character in his middle age. And you can kind of see his frustration. He's spent almost thirty years trying to distance himself from that dude-bro persona. But let's face it,
