'Desperate Housewives' Had Some Crazy Amazing Storylines — Relive the Most Jaw-Dropping Episodes!

We miss this drama! When Desperate Houswives ran for eight seasons on ABC from 2004 until 2012, each of the show's 180 episodes were jam-packed with crazy storylines — and we loved every second of it! From hiding dead bodies and kids being switched at birth to a scary hostage situation and a devastating tornado, Dh had it all. And, that's not even mentioning all of the shocking character deaths that occured during the series' run. (Photo Credit: Getty Images) With a whopping 52 characters dying from the pilot episode through the finale, it's no surprise that the Desperate Housewives writers got quite creative with the many ways that the Fairview residents perished. In fact, some episodes were so amazingly dramatic that some members of the cast — which included Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Felicity Huffman, and Marcia Cross — once expressed interest in the entire show ending with such a bang that a few Wisteria Lane

Eva Longoria Jokes "99 Percent" of the 'Desperate Housewives' Cast Is Still Friends Today

She's pregnant and holding nothing back! In a new interview, Eva Longoria opened up about the statuses of the relationships of her Desperate Housewives co-stars today — and implied not everyone is friends today probably without even realizing it. The actress stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, April 11, where she was asked about the Wisteria Lane ladies. "We're very good friends," she revealed, to which host Jimmy Kimmel replied, "All of you?" Eva's response to that question was both fierce and hilariously. "No," she quipped. "But 99 percent of us are." Hmm... Although Eva didn't name names, we have a feeling she's referring to how she, Marcia Cross, and Felicity Huffman, are not really close with Teri Hatcher anymore, six years after the show ended. In fact, the 43-year-old previously revealed that she's so close with Felicity and Marcia that they even give her great mom advice. "Oh, my gosh, Marcia

Teri Hatcher Hints At A Revival Of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman

Though I haven’t actually watched it in about 20 years, I’ve got fond memories of 90’s TV show Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.

Starring Dean Cain as Clark Kent/Superman and Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane, the show ran for four season from 1993-1997 and provided fans with a much-needed dose of live-action Superman in the absence of any big screen outings in the 90s. Enjoying decent ratings throughout its run, it was only cancelled when Teri Hatcher became pregnant and was unable to film a fifth season – leaving the show ending on a cliffhanger (Superman and Lois are married, and a mysterious child has just appeared).

Now, it’s sounding like there’s a tiny chance that it might return in some form. Hatcher was speaking with Entertainment Weekly recently about Lois & Clark and teased the following:

“I know I have a lot of fans

Vanessa Williams Recalls Her Favorite 'Desperate Housewives' Memories (Exclusive)

She's taking a trip down Memory Lane — or in this case, Wisteria Lane! In an exclusive new interview with Closer Weekly, Desperate Housewives alum Vanessa Williams opened up about her time on the ABC drama playing Renee Perry from 2010 until 2012. "One of my favorite moments — I think it was Halloween when I got some food poisoning, and we had to do special effects makeup because my nose was supposed to be bumpy and red. It's always funny when you're playing a character that has no idea what's happening and people are always reacting," the 55-year-old said as she teamed up with WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease and Burlington stores for their #KnockOutHeartDisease campaign. "That was a funny one because we had to put prosthetics on and be goofy." (Photo Credit: Getty Images) "There were a bunch [of good episodes]. One that was a party, it was one of those

Teri Hatcher Denies Getting Work Done, Blames Bad Lighting for Botox Rumors

Poor Teri Hatcher. The actress has already denied reports she is homeless and broke, but now the Desperate Housewives star has unbeknownst to her, sparked plastic surgery rumors. The 53-year-old beauty dismissed claims she was living in a van and now she may have to silence her haters on social media. "She might not be broke, but she definitely needs to lay off the plastic surgery and Botox — cute to scary," one Twitter user wrote before another rudely asked, "What happened to Teri Hatcher's face? Has she had one too many face lifts?" A third chimed in, "She really went way too far with whatever she did to her face." (Photo Credit: Getty Images) Previously, Teri denied claims she had gone under the knife and shared a series of makeup-free selfies on Facebook with her fans. The 20 Best Comic Book TV Shows of All Time, Ranked

  • Indiewire
It’s easy to think of the kind of stories that get told in the comic book world as just one genre or tone, but as seen below, graphic novels, comic strips, and other sequential art have offered up an incredible range of storytelling. And these stories have been inspiring great TV shows for years, even before superhero stories dominated the box office.

There were plenty of options that nearly made the list, like the WB’s “Smallville,” which squandered its early potential after running just a few seasons too long, and “Marvel’s Runaways,” which is still discovering the depths of what it can do. Because one of the most exciting things about these stories is that there’s a rich variety to choose from.

20. “Jeremiah”

Based on the Belgian comics by Hermann Huppen and created by J. Michael Straczynski (“Babylon 5,” “Sense8”), this intriguing post-apocalyptic drama ran for two seasons on Showtime.

Rachel Brosnahan (‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’) could resume Emmys’ streak of first-year champs in Best Comedy Actress

Rachel Brosnahan (‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’) could resume Emmys’ streak of first-year champs in Best Comedy Actress
It’s hard to think back to a time when Julia Louis-Dreyfus wasn’t winning Emmys for “Veep,” but it does exist. Louis-Dreyfus started her six-year reign in Best Comedy Actress in 2012, winning for every season of the HBO satire so far. But before that and including her first “Veep” victory, the Emmy had gone to actresses from a freshman series seven out of eight times, which could bode well for Rachel Brosnahan (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”) this year.

The trend began in 2005 when Felicity Huffman upset her co-stars Teri Hatcher, who had won the Golden Globe and SAG, and Marcia Cross for “Desperate Housewives”’ breakout first season. Louis-Dreyfus won in 2006 for her CBS sitcom “The New Adventures of Old Christine,” a midseason replacement. “Ugly Betty” herself America Ferrera completed her freshman sweep of the Globe, SAG and Emmy the following year. 2008 was the only time in those eight years

Eva Longoria's 'Desperate Housewives' Diet Might Make You Jealous

All of the Desperate Housewives stars have always looked fabulous — and we can credit their stunning figures to the healthy habits of Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman. In fact, the Wisteria Lane ladies once dished about their diet and exercise regimens in a 2008 interview! Get ready to be envious: Eva said she had never dieted. "But I love meat and fish and was raised eating fresh vegetables, so I'm pretty used to a good diet," she told the Daily Mirror at the time. Eva also revealed she starts her days with high-protein breakfasts — egg white omelets, for example — to keep her energy up and her hunger down throughout the day. (The actress also swore by a dietary supplement called hoodia — as did co-star Teri Hatcher — but doctors have told WebMD the science behind hoodia's reported appetite-suppressing qualities is sketchy.) (Photo Credit: ABC) Amid that nutritious diet, though, Eva admitted she does have the occasional indulgence.

Teri Hatcher Says Desperate Housewives Revival Will Never Happen

Don’t pack your bags for a trip back to Wisteria Lane; Teri Hatcher says Desperate Housewives definitely isn’t coming back via a revival season.

ABC’s soapy melodrama ran for eight seasons from 2004 and 2012 and became a huge hit in the mid-noughties, thanks to its Ott acting and all-star cast. Focusing on four bored housewives in the wake of their best friend’s suicide, Hatcher, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria, and Felicity Huffman took the leading roles.

Supergirl Reportedly Casting Lois Lane

Though Supergirl was initially keen to let its heroine stand on her own two feet, the show has grown in confidence enough over the seasons to feature more and more characters from Superman lore. Not least the Man of Steel himself, as played by Tyler Hoechlin, last seen in season 2. Now it seems that The CW is looking to cast the love of his life as well, Lois Lane.

Omega Underground has unveiled what could be a casting call for the part of the Daily Planet reporter. In particular, they’ve uncovered an audition tape featuring actress Sarah Ceballos (Sector 17) trying her hand at the iconic role. Ou suggest that Lois’ arrival on Supergirl could come at the tail-end of season 3, or perhaps be held back for the beginning of season 4. Either way, though, it looks like she’s definitely about to make her presence felt.

Supergirl has been heading
