King Kong: The Complete Filmographyby akustikaufruhr | created - 11 Sep 2015 | updated - 04 Oct 2015 | Public
This list features all officially movies (even upcoming productions) featuring (or related to) the King Kong character in chronological order (as produced, not timeline-wise or anything) - Please notice that spoofs or rip-offs like Queen Kong (1976), APE (1976) or The Mighty Peking Man (1978) are NOT listed in here, because they obviously don't feature the original King Kong character! Same thing with the two 1930ies lost japanese adaptions - But at the other hand, both Toho movies from the 1960ies are indeed enlisted, since they make use of the the rights for the original King Kong character. Furthermore other very far related films like Mighty Joe Young (1949) or its remake are NOT listed here, too, since they also don't feature the King Kong character in any ways... And again, TV shows (like the 1960ies and 2000s animated series) or animated films are strictly ignored here, it's just about the theatrical live-action movies!
