There's Alien ripp offs around but I don't know any good one. It's strange because Alien is the best blueprint for how to make a great sci-fi horror movie. Of course, it's harder than it seems, to create something as good as Alien. Well, it depends on which eyes who is studying the blueprint.

Special FX isnt that good for the giant worms but we can live with that. What I've heard David Lynch once said that Dune is the worst film he ever made. He don't know what a great cult movie he created.
