Closest one to the original, despite allowing too much artistic visions. Ostap is spot on, Kisa is close. Sets are very well done and work well to create an atmosphere. I have a problem with sugarcoated ending, but I understand it. A very good movie.

I like 12 Chairs the book much more than The Golden Calf book. Therefore is took me longer to get to the movie also. Movie is good. Has quite a number of memorable one-liners, good acting and interesting story. Ostap burned out and it shows. Has some problem by it being a soviet movie, but probably is the most competent of soviet 12 Chairs movies.

With the exception of a single shot - it is pretty much a perfect horror/sci-fi flick. There is not much I can say about it. It is a masterpiece.

Alien, but reimagined as an action movie. Has blockbuster aspirations and "bigger is better" mentality that I don't like. Still, a great and very enjoyable movie.

Comedic take on small-time crooks trying to get big. Roman Karimov's homage to Guy Ritchie. Has varying degrees of acting skill (some actors are better than wood, I meant the others). Has very morbid sense of humor. I enjoyed this one.
