12 Angry Men is a superbly acted and thoroughly engrossing courtroom drama. Interesting moral quandaries are abound as law and passion collide. Sure to leave you thinking, and quite possibly cheering, 12 Angry Men is a simple little movie that goes a long way.

Brando knocks it out of the park in this terrific film chronicling the everyday moral struggles of men working on the waterfront. Few films have aged this well, and fewer still have so effectively communicated such an important and universal struggle. The fight for truth and conscience in a world with little use for either of them has rarely been conveyed so excellently.

Terrence Malick's stunningly polished debut feature is lyrical, beautiful, and tragic. Sheen and Spacek are perfectly cast as a doomed couple in this hypnotizing picture about innocence and evil, and the thin line between the two.
