You can watch this one which is based on Alex Hailey’s teleplay “Flight Into Danger”, (Hailey’s is the same man who wrote the novel “Airport” that the movie Airport (1970) is the movie adaptation), or Airplane! (1980) that used Hall Bartlett’s version of the screenplay to Zero Hour! (1957) to parody the Airport movies, and Hailey’s work right down to the kid visiting the cockpit in “Zero Hour!”, and parts from “Saturday Night Fever”, the beach scene in “From Here to Eternity”, and Airport 1975 (1974). Or you can see the 3rd version of it which was done after Hailey turn his teleplay into a novel called “Runway Zero-Eight”, Terror in the Sky (1971). They all have the exact same story elements of the passengers and pilots getting sick from food poisoning (bad fish), and the only pilot not sick is an ex-fighter pilot, who had lost his nerve, and he has to fly the plane, and has to be talked down from the ground because he has no experience flying a commercial airplane. Talk about recycling material!
