2017: Most Anticipated Hard Sci-Fi

by Sparse | created - 08 Jun 2017 | updated - 28 Jan 2018 | Public

Take the poll!

Hard Sci-Fi is science fiction “characterized by an emphasis on scientific accuracy”. The definitions of “hard” and “soft” sci-fi alike are moreso approximations however, leaving a lot of room for discussion & debate.

It's not uncommon for a film's interpretation of science to be stretched for the sake of narrative (e.g. the third act of Interstellar). What matters most is that scientific ideas and concepts are explored throughout the story.

Which of these hard sci-fi movies are you anticipating the most for 2017? This poll excludes superhero movies, space-operas, and sci-fi horror (which are better suited as their own sub-genres).
