1. Tusk (2014)

R | 102 min | Comedy, Drama, Horror

55 Metascore

A brash and arrogant podcaster gets more than he bargained for when he travels to Canada to interview a mysterious recluse... who has a rather disturbing fondness for walruses.

Director: Kevin Smith | Stars: Justin Long, Michael Parks, Haley Joel Osment, Genesis Rodriguez

Votes: 39,544 | Gross: $1.82M

A little unnerving, totally hilarious, and the most entertaining movie on the list. Laugh out loud funny. A man's obsession with a walrus in his past leads him into the oddest crimes in history. Well-acted. 'Is man truly a walrus at heart?'

2. Night of the Lepus (1972)

PG | 88 min | Horror, Sci-Fi, Thriller

Giant mutant rabbits terrorize the south-west.

Director: William F. Claxton | Stars: Stuart Whitman, Janet Leigh, Rory Calhoun, DeForest Kelley

Votes: 3,664

How did they get Janet Leigh and Stuart Whitman to do this ridiculous movie? A pesticide being formulated to eradicate an overpopulation of rabbits causes them to grow into enormous, man-eating monsters that roar like lions. 'They're as big as wolves...and vicious!' Horrible storytelling and special effects (if they can even be called that) but big on laughs!

3. Clown (2014)

R | 100 min | Drama, Fantasy, Horror

42 Metascore

A loving father finds a clown suit for his son's birthday party, only to realize that it's cursed.

Director: Jon Watts | Stars: Andy Powers, Laura Allen, Peter Stormare, Christian Distefano

Votes: 18,779 | Gross: $0.06M

Real estate agent finds a clown suit in the basement of the house he's showing. The clown for his son's birthday party cancels. Dad suits up to entertain the kiddies, but the suit won't come off afterward. Worth watching...once.

4. House (1985)

R | 93 min | Comedy, Fantasy, Horror

A troubled writer moves into a haunted house after inheriting it from his aunt.

Director: Steve Miner | Stars: William Katt, Kay Lenz, George Wendt, Richard Moll

Votes: 20,040 | Gross: $19.44M

This movie couldn't decide if it wanted to be scary or funny or dumb. William Katt is great and provides a lot of fun for the first hour. Then it gets more serious, but the glaring holes in the plot keep it on the funny side. Watchable.

5. Re-Animator (1985)

Unrated | 105 min | Comedy, Horror, Sci-Fi

After an odd new medical student arrives on campus, a dedicated local and his girlfriend become involved in bizarre experiments centering around the re-animation of dead tissue.

Director: Stuart Gordon | Stars: Jeffrey Combs, Bruce Abbott, Barbara Crampton, David Gale

Votes: 48,157 | Gross: $2.02M

Take-off on a Lovecraft story, but lacking the conviction of his work. Can a dead person really be brought back to life via scientific means? Has one man found the special serum to do it? A headless man walks around carrying his head, which can still see and make talking sounds. Enough said.

6. Sssssss (1973)

PG | 99 min | Horror, Sci-Fi

A college student becomes lab assistant to a scientist who is working on a serum that can transform humans into snakes.

Director: Bernard L. Kowalski | Stars: Strother Martin, Dirk Benedict, Heather Menzies-Urich, Richard B. Shull

Votes: 2,924

Dirk Benedict stars in this as an assistant to a professor studying snakes. The transformation of man into snake near the end is perhaps the worst special effect in film history. (It's not enough of an effect to be labeled as 'special').

7. Drag Me to Hell (2009)

PG-13 | 99 min | Horror, Thriller

83 Metascore

A loan officer who evicts an old woman from her home finds herself the recipient of a supernatural curse. Desperate, she turns to a seer to try and save her soul, while evil forces work to push her to a breaking point.

Director: Sam Raimi | Stars: Alison Lohman, Justin Long, Ruth Livier, Lorna Raver

Votes: 174,286 | Gross: $42.10M

One of the dumbest movies ever made. A shamed, old gypsy stalks a young woman who denied her bank loan. At one point the old woman tries to swallow the girl's head into her gaping denture-free mouth! The script is idiotic.

8. Leprechaun (1993)

R | 92 min | Comedy, Fantasy, Horror

An evil, sadistic Leprechaun goes on a killing rampage in search of his beloved pot of gold.

Director: Mark Jones | Stars: Warwick Davis, Jennifer Aniston, Ken Olandt, Mark Holton

Votes: 20,146 | Gross: $8.56M

It's hard to be frightened of a short guy in a green suit looking for his pot of gold. Only released b/c it features a young Jennifer Aniston. 'Top of the boredom to ya!'

9. Snow Shark: Ancient Snow Beast (2011 Video)

R | 79 min | Action, Adventure, Comedy

12 years ago during a scientific expedition 3 animal biologists stumbled upon a great discovery that ended in tragedy. Whatever killed them has awoken and now the legend of the Ancient Snow Beast could prove to be more than just a legend.

Director: Sam Qualiana | Stars: Sam Qualiana, Michael O'Hear, Jackey Hall, C.J. Qualiana

Votes: 551

A shark patrols the deep snows of an Eastern European mountain. Blood splatter looks extra gory on the white snow for added effect. A 'Straight Face Award' for the actor who explained how this land shark came into being.

10. Dead Silence (2007)

R | 89 min | Horror, Thriller

34 Metascore

A young widower returns to his hometown to search for answers to his wife's murder, which may be linked to the ghost of a murdered ventriloquist.

Director: James Wan | Stars: Ryan Kwanten, Amber Valletta, Donnie Wahlberg, Michael Fairman

Votes: 77,515 | Gross: $16.81M

A dead ventriloquist and her dummies take revenge on the town folk. 'She'll rip your tongue out at the seam.' Never knew my tongue had a seam. My own ignorant burden.
