Whether for its medieval setting, its thrilling concept, its heavy consistance on sex, sweat, blood and adrenalin and some photogenic bad-ass and sexy characters, it became an instant favorite with its share of enthusiastic fans, hardcore non-fans and a few indifferent non-watchers.
