Look I guess all 3 have there moments but really I watched the second one (The Chronicles of Riddick) first without even knowing Pitch Black even existed until the release of the third Riddick adventure and I think I preferred it that way.

Give all three a crack but the second in the franchise is just a little bit more developed and nice. It's like an MA 15+ Version of Ratched & Clank.
