He's a typical Japanese salaryman, in an everyday job. Attraction leads him to take dance lessons, opening a new world into his otherwise dull life. Beautiful movie, with a smart comic edge to keep you chuckling throughout. Pure enjoyment at being human, no matter which culture you shuffle your feet in. Like our hero on his opening train ride, I don't dance either, but I wish I could after seeing this..! Enjoy this lovely example of sensitively crafted Japanese cinema.
