"The Croats caught up [with the American trend of making 3-D films], so now 'Svećenikova djeca', which you could've seen in cinemas, is available in 3-D version in theater 'Kerempuh' [in Zagreb]." - Vitez "Let's get back to 'Svećenikova djeca'. I've seen the film and it was good, except for the end which is artificially embedded, it's not at all a part of the film.." - Vitez "But it wasn't that attractive so you would watch it again?" - Sedlar "It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as attractive to go see in once again in the theater." - Vitez

Votes: 1,621

"For me, her [Jasmila Zbanić's] film 'On the path' with mujahedin had a good topic, but the performance, the characterization and their changes of motives were so badly done. The storyline was perfect for a *beep* great film and then it hits you with those extremes." - Sedlar

Director: Antoine Fuqua | Stars: Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett

Votes: 225,603 | Gross: $98.93M

"It is a film that was, in it's early version, hundred percent offered to Bruce Willis as one of the 'Die Hard' sequels." - Vitez "It was a script that they tossed away." - Sedlar "Yeah, but even Bruce Willis didn't want to do it as 'Die Hard', obviously." - Vitez "You can imagine how bad the film is, then." - Sedlar "Let's talk about the trailer first. The amount of stupidity piled in this trailer... I am concerned, if it is possible to pile so much nonsense in these two minutes, how much is there in the film?" - Vitez "So many cliches." - Sedlar & Vitez "This is what happens: president's secret service escorts the president and something falls on his car, a branch I suppose, a deer..." - Vitez "What the *beep*, a mosquito may not fart in three hundred meter radius..." - Sedlar "Anyway, something falls on his car, the driver reacts so badly he spins the car over and over, so the car is left hanging from the bridge..." - Vitez "That's the most worn out situation ever, when you want to make an intense traffic accident, you leave the car hanging from the bridge. And then what, the First Lady...?" - Sedlar "And then they obviously drag the president out and leave the First Lady in there, she ends up falling down, and then... We don't see these things, we can assume..." - Vitez "Is that the case where he gives to drinking, and he's a little, like..." - Sedlar "At that moment, when the car with the first lady falls into the abyss and the president is dragged out, I think Dikan [Josip Radeljak, Croatian engineer, entrepreneur, charmer, lover and a sexy beast, lost his second wife Ena Begović in a car accident] cries a little [laugh]. You didn't hear this. [laugh] Anyway, this secret agent then begins to doubt his capability, he's afraid the president will take offense at him, but he will soon get a chance to redeem himself for his possible mistake or his act..." - Vitez "It cam as ordered!" - Sedlar "A giant cargo plane appeared in the middle of Washington, with machine guns on the side, started *beep* shooting at the White House..." - Vitez "Without any... They would immediately shoot it down if it only turned to the White House, but it flies over the Washington as if nothing is happening." - Sedlar "It flies over Washington Monument, the machine guns come out, starts shooting. How did it get there? There's got to be a sensational explanation for something like that in the film. Anyway, a few machine gun men drop in the White House, take over the White House, kidnap the president, and now what - the president is inside, everyone in the secret service is killed except our friend Gerard Butler..." Vitez "I thought you were going to say Bruce Willis, then I remembered..." - Sedlar "Yeah, well it's not Bruce Willis. He looks to me as if he was younger brother to James Bond." - Vitez "The last Bond, the current one? Yeah, but I don't remember seeing a good film with this Gerard Butler." - Sedlar "I think the same *beep* will happen here, I don't know, they'll have devices that will make their plane invisible, and it's going to be, like, such an extrication." - Sedlar "Maybe the Klingon are attacking." - Vitez "I would also like to mention... In the trailer we see... I think the villain is a Chinese guy, an Asian." - Sedlar "I think Koreans are in question." - Vitez "Now I'm thinking if they did the same thing here [introduce North Koreans as the enemy]. I'm waiting for an American producer to discover small countries like Monaco and they begin... I'm sure of it, if San Marino is your main enemy, you don't lose viewers." - Sedlar "You're not even sure about Serbs anymore." - Vitez & Sedlar "But again I'm not sure why watch this film in theaters, when Jack Bauer saved the president so many times in '24' (2001-10). Gerard Butler isn't going to do it any better than Kiefer Sutherland did." - Vitez "We think alike." - Sedlar "I glanced at who the writers of this film were and I got two names of two people who never wrote a script before, so I suspect that the scripts are otherwise written that way, so the basic elements are put in the computer and the computer itself makes, like, the script." - Vitez "But director is, like, a good director, he made the 'Training Day' (2001)." - Vitez "Yeah, Fuqua [pronounces it fo-kah]! How do you pronounce it? I pronounced it 'fo-kah'. [laugh] - Sedlar "This is going to be *beep* I can guarantee that from all my experience." - Sedlar "And you can go watch it in cinema, if you're so stubborn." - Vitez "Watch it and then complain on social networks." - Sedlar "[imitating] 'I think it's okay, I wanted to have a little fun, to see how they...'" - Sedlar "[imitating a redneck] 'They shoot a little, chase a little, throw a pun or two and that's really great, man!'" - Vitez

Votes: 239,727 | Gross: $73.34M

"'Law Abiding Citizen' remained in my memory as a film that completely disappointed me..." - Sedlar "Oh, that was so bad!" - Vitez "...and it had a terrible twist, like, it's a film that aspires to a twist, it makes you watch it, you want to see how this character manipulates the situation from a prison." - Sedlar "He manipulates by the fact that he has a tunnel in the prison, *beep* it." -Vitez [laughing]"He drilled a tunnel and that's, like, a payoff offered to the spectator. I wanted to crash the screen while watching it." - Sedlar "A disaster. Though the premise of the film was good!" - Vitez "The premise is quite okay, but I waited... Okay, now reward me with something in the end, for *beep*'s sake, *beep* me up with something, you know." - Sedlar "I suspected that he had an outside assistant in the film, I even suspected some people." - Vitez "You expected logic." - Sedlar "Logic, yes, there had to be something clear, explainable, but no, obviously... But that's the problem for me in these Hollywood hits, that it, like, somehow holds you for the first half, until we enter the second half of the second act and the third act when it becomes a *beep* disaster." - Vitez

11. Air Force One (1997)

R | 124 min | Action, Drama, Thriller

61 Metascore

Director: Wolfgang Petersen | Stars: Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman, Glenn Close, Wendy Crewson

Votes: 160,253 | Gross: $172.96M

"This also reminds me, this whole film˙['Law Abiding Citizen (2009)], of 'Air Force One', and this film also disappointed me a little. Well, a little... It disappointed me quite a bit with the situation where you expect to see how Gary Oldman is going to take over the plane in the film, you expect a germ of inspiration, a little brilliance, that you actually fall for... I mean, someone who watches this film in *beep* Pentagon says: '*beep* it, we have a lapse.' There is also this scene, they literally passed through metal detectors, threw their weapons over and entered... I think that's how it was. I'm not sure, but it was on that level. - Sedlar

"I wanted to comment, I wanted to mention this, because the remake of Milius' 'Red Dawn' (1984) is coming out soon, it might have been released last year, or it was not yet released, I'm not hundred percent sure, but in the original 'Red Dawn'... You know what 'Red Dawn' is about? Anyway, Russians conquer the USA and now when they remade it the Chinese were supposed to be the conquerors, but the producers, who have the $ signs instead of eye pupils realized that if they put the Chinese in, they lose the market of a million people, so let's put North *beep* Koreans to conquer the USA, like, defeat the US Army that everybody hates, that's for sure." - Sedlar

"Have you seen '24'?" - Vitez "Well, I've seen one season, and it was okay, I can't remember which season was it now." - Sedlar "I don't know, it was a little guilty pleasure TV series, but the third season was a *beep* good season." - Vitez "I don't know if I've seen the third season, I really can't remember." - Sedlar "The third one was really good. The first and the second one, I was watching the first one, then it became really dumb near the end, the second one, too, but the third one held me to the end and it was cool, the third season." - Vitez "They launched it over the top and..." - Sedlar "Yeah, and it was good, *beep* it, but later they made no effort to put logic in all these events that happen during that one day period. Never mind, I would rather watch Jack Bauer than our...[Mike Banning]" - Vitez

"There's something in cinemas now by a writer of this film ['Training Day' (2001)], so I see." - Vitez "I thought that guy [Antoine Fuqua] directed 'End of Watch'." - Sedlar "I thought so, too. But I see this guy [David Ayer] directed it. The little team that made 'Training Day' (2001) has obviously made a good profile down in Hollywood, so they're given spectacles like this to make." - Vitez

"It's a film I've seen on one of the Pula [Film] Festivals. And on those festivals you have a bunch of domestic scrap, but this was by far the worst film on the festival that I've seen that year. This film has what we mentioned earlier: the first half is more or less okay, some Americans travel with Trans-Siberian Railway and then some strange things begin to happen and at one point it turns into a parody, you can't believe that someone who makes this film really tries to convince you that it has to be taken seriously, or is he making fun of you and the whole script, you know. But the film was also very well received, so now nothing is clear to me anymore. "For the ones for whom it was intended, they fell for it to the end, to the bottom." - Sedlar
