Votes: 5,032 | Gross: $0.16M
One of my favorites from one of my favorite directors. It's pretty depressing, but also pretty awesome. Also, it's as much about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict as the couple. Still, so good.

Another favorite. Less depressing than you'd expect for a movie set in the time period it's set in. Also, Rupert Graves, while still pretty hot, was sinfully hot when he was young.

The 90s were such a good time for queer cinema.
11. Beautiful People (I) (2008– )
The story of the flamboyant and ambitious 14-year-old Simon Doonan, who has dreams that stretch beyond his hometown of Reading.
If you can find it, this show is really sweet and funny. I should probably just do a separate tv list for you. TV is, in some ways, better than film at diversity.

Votes: 84,784 | Gross: $2.04M
So much funnier than it probably should have been. Or maybe it was should have been hilarious, but with all the drama surrounding it's release, I started to think it wouldn't hold up to the hype. It did. Really funny and weirdly sweet.
