Sherlock Holmes - a whole gallery of adaptations throughout the decades.

by alexanderdavies-99382 | created - 1 month ago | updated - 1 month ago | Public

This particular detective needs no introduction. My favourite rendition of Holmes, is still Basil Rathbone after all the years I've been watching the Baker Street sleuth. In addition, there have been other portrayals which are noteworthy: Douglas Wilmer, Jeremy Brett, Ian Richardson, Peter Cushing and Christopher Plummer.
