Laurel and Hardy - I'm still laughing after all these years!

by alexanderdavies-99382 | created - 11 months ago | updated - 3 weeks ago | Public

The funniest comedy team of them all. Since the early 1980s, I have never stopped laughing at the various antics of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. They were two men born to create comedy and they achieved precisely that. Whether in their short or feature films, Laurel and Hardy made comedy look as natural as could be. In addition, their on-screen personas immediately made them popular with the public. No matter what or who the boys were up against, they always stuck together and their loyalty to one another was beyond question. Stan Laurel can lay claim to being as talented and creative a comedian, along with the likes of Chaplin, Keaton and Lloyd. Oliver Hardy has been described as one of the finest comic film actors in cinema history - and I agree.
