My favorite films from all of the Germanies - the German Empire, the Weimar Republic, the Third Reich, East and West Germanies, and the reunified nation, as well as films from the German-speaking neighbor Austria, and Switzerland - which perhaps doesn't belong here, but from which I haven't seen enough to put anywhere else. Someday that will change.
