10 Best Horror Films of 1912

by nauru-1 | created - 04 Mar 2016 | updated - 27 Mar 2016 | Public

Plenty of works produced here, though as typical of the time many are lost or difficult to find. By this point, adaptations and remakes were quite prominent inspirations for works. After this year, the occasional foundational horror film would begin to sprinkle onto the scene, though it would still be a gradual process before the genre was known as such.

Notable Films sometimes labelled as horror: The Conquest of the Pole, Superstition andalouse, Un ragno nel cervello, A Bride of Death, Bertie's Book of Magic, Feathertop

Notable Films that didn't make the cut: The Raven, The Spider's Web
