Thought it was time to recreate this list. Seeing as how some of these shows from my previous list I've either given up on, or have seen better shows that can easily replace it.

1. Freaks and Geeks (1999–2000)

A high school mathlete starts hanging out with a group of burnouts while her younger brother navigates his freshman year.
Best coming of age show. Actually, best coming of age anything.
2. Cowboy Bebop (1998–1999)
TV-MA | 24 min | Animation, Action, Adventure
The futuristic misadventures and tragedies of an easygoing bounty hunter and his partners.
An anime celebrating western culture. Smooth jazz, cool characters and badass story lines still make this the best anime around.
3. Baccano! (2007–2008)
TV-MA | 25 min | Animation, Action, Adventure
A crazy fantasy caper involving alchemists, immortals, gangsters, outlaws and an elixir of immortality, spread over several decades.
A giant cast of characters with all their own personalities and traits. Wrapped around a fun 18th century murder mystery.
4. Game of Thrones (2011– )
TV-MA | 57 min | Action, Adventure, Drama
Nine noble families fight for control over the mythical lands of Westeros, while an ancient enemy returns after being dormant for thousands of years.
This is how you do midevil drama! Don't get attached to any of the characters.
5. Louie (2010–2015)

The life of Louie C.K., a divorced comedian living in New York with two kids.
Slice of Life meets dirty comedy.
6. Breaking Bad (2008–2013)

A high school chemistry teacher diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer turns to manufacturing and selling methamphetamine in order to secure his family's future.
Drug cartel drama. Bryan Cranston is the man!
7. That '70s Show (1998–2006)

A comedy revolving around a group of teenage friends, their mishaps, and their coming of age, set in 1970s Wisconsin.
Second best coming of age show with a groovy 70's vibe.
8. FLCL (2000–2018)
TV-14 | 151 min | Animation, Action, Comedy
A 12-year old boy named Naota one day meets a strange woman, riding a Vespa and wielding a big guitar. As soon as she appears, mysterious things start happening.
Everything can be chaotic.
9. The Big Bang Theory (2007– )

A woman who moves into an apartment across the hall from two brilliant but socially awkward physicists shows them how little they know about life outside of the laboratory.
10. Daredevil (2015– )

A blind lawyer by day, vigilante by night. Matt Murdock fights the crime of New York as Daredevil.
Blind justice bitch.

The story behind Detective James Gordon's rise to prominence in Gotham City in the years before Batman's arrival.
Why so much flack! This is the best Batman adaptation since The Dark Knight. Yes, I said it.
13. Undeclared (2001–2003)
22 min | Comedy
College freshman Steve Karp, his girlfriend and their fellow dormmates embark on one the greatest experiences of their lives. Unfortunately for Steve, his lonely and recently divorced father is tagging along for the ride.

14. Pokémon (1997–2018)

Follows the adventure of Satoshi with his Pokemon, Pikachu and his friends to become the Pokemon master.

A satire on everything.
18. The Twilight Zone (1959–1964)

Ordinary people find themselves in extraordinarily astounding situations, which they each try to solve in a remarkable manner.
Best anthology show ever.
19. Higurashi no naku koro ni (2006– )

The story of a group of young friends and the mysterious events that occur in the rural village of Hinamizawa.
Everything can be about death.
20. Arrested Development (2003– )
TV-PG | 22 min | Comedy
Level-headed son Michael Bluth takes over family affairs after his father is imprisoned. But the rest of his spoiled, dysfunctional family are making his job unbearable.
Funny take on the sitcom.
21. Batman: The Animated Series (1992–1995)

The Dark Knight battles crime in Gotham City with occasional help from Robin and Batgirl.
Best dark cartoon.
22. Samurai Jack (2001–2017)

Best show about yuppie New Yorker's.
24. Kolchak: The Night Stalker (1974–1975)

A newspaper reporter investigates strange supernatural occurrences in Chicago.
A funny, scary mystery show with a great character.
25. Courage the Cowardly Dog (1999–2002)
TV-Y7 | 11 min | Animation, Comedy, Family
The offbeat adventures of Courage, a cowardly dog who must overcome his own fears to heroically defend his unknowing farmer owners from all kinds of dangers, paranormal events and menaces that appear around their land.
Not for young viewers despite being on Cartoon Network.
26. The Simpsons (1989– )

The satiric adventures of a working-class family in the misfit city of Springfield.
Longest running show. Lost a lot of steam, but still great for reruns.
27. American Horror Story (2011– )

An anthology series centering on different characters and locations, including a house with a murderous past, an insane asylum, a witch coven, a freak show, a hotel, a possessed farmhouse, a cult, and the apocalypse.
Deeply disturbing horror anthology.

Best modern kids show.
