5. Freak Show (2017)

Not Rated | 91 min | Comedy, Drama

54 Metascore

Follows the story of teenager Billy Bloom who, despite attending an ultra conservative high school, makes the decision to run for homecoming queen.

Director: Trudie Styler | Stars: Alex Lawther, Ian Nelson, AnnaSophia Robb, Celia Weston

Votes: 3,457 | Gross: $0.02M

No where near as great as the rest of the films in this list, but this movie about a transgender kid (a teenage transvestite who loves to dress up in glamorous women's clothing, like his over-dramatic mother) and his close friendship with his SBF (Straight Best Friend), is a pretty good movie about acceptance.

7/10 !!!!
