Although I'm not a Del Toro fan, this -like Pinocchio- does sound very promising, IF he directs. Hopefully Pacific Rim is good and a success and Universal green lights this one and lets him do whatever he wants.

James Franco has to really make nothing short of an amazing masterpiece classic with this. Although I wish Todd Field (In The Bedroom, Little Children) had this task.

Maybe this is the Tarkovsky-like space odyssey. It sounds more deep (even recalls Malick's original title for The Tree of Life) than Mr. Machine, which may very well be one his comedies with the Apatow troupe.

I just hope this gets done right. I kinda wish Chris Cunningham would be back on board with Vincenzo Natali producing instead. William Gibson deserves great adaptations of his work.
