1. Antichrist (2009)

Not Rated | 108 min | Drama, Horror

49 Metascore

A grieving couple retreat to their cabin in the woods, hoping to repair their broken hearts and troubled marriage. But nature takes its course and things go from bad to worse.

Director: Lars von Trier | Stars: Willem Dafoe, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Storm Acheche Sahlstrøm

Votes: 99,655 | Gross: $0.40M

WARNING! This film is not for the ordinary people. Lars von Trier is responsible for this masterpiece of portraying Mankind and Womankind. Man nature is so different between sexes, but also so alike. "Eden" is the place where all started, and it is the place when all will finish, the cabin in the woods, and the cradle of mankind. Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg are very convincing and brutal enough to describe all that is needed. I like psychological thrillers, they are not understood by everyone- you either love it or don't understand it!Deal with it!

Votes: 2,531

"Ripper: Letter From Hell" is beauty A.J. Cook's best film, and very interesting one, a Dark Gothic Thriller with a pinch of comedy and eroticism...if you like strong action female figures, that's a rare jewel. "For a time there I wasn't thinking clearly. I was confused. In limbo. I mean, this is 1888, right? I knew I was Jack. Cunning Jack. Quiet Jack. Jack's my name. Jack whose sword never sleeps.
