Known for his trademark gelled spiked up crew cut with sunglasses, Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) is an Indian Bollywood movie star, movie producer, magazine model, showman, public speaker, author, philanthropist and television host/personality working predominantly in Hindi cinema.

Khan began his on-camera acting debut in 1987 at the age of 21 by guest starring in various Indian serial drama soap opera TV shows as well as appearing in numerous television commercials and brand advertisements for products. He studied theatre arts and drama during his second year of college after participating in numerous school plays. He landed a few acting gigs in Delhi, before acting on Indian TV and became popular. Khan came down to Mumbai to shoot a TV series with self doubt and under confidence. So he came for a year to give it a shot. After recuperating from a career-ending sports injury, he landed his breakout breakthrough feature film starring role in the Silver screen in June 1992, and rose to prominence in the mid-to-late 1990s. Khan shot to stardom in his first feature film "Deewana" (1992) which won him the first of 13 Filmfare awards -- the Bollywood equivalent of an Oscar. He continued starring in blockbuster movies throughout the 2000s with a mixed bag of career fluctuations, establishing himself as a very bankable, versatile movie star in the early-to-mid 2010s. Following a 4-year sabbatical hiatus in the wake of the corona-virus pandemic, Khan made a resurgence comeback in 2023, and continues to act and star in A-Lister blockbuster movies.

Referred to in the media as the "Baadshah of Bollywood" and "King Khan", he has appeared in over 100 films, and earned numerous accolades, including 14 Filmfare Awards.

He has been awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India, as well as the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and Legion of Honour by the Government of France. Khan has a significant following in Asia and the Indian diaspora worldwide. In terms of audience size and income, several media outlets have described him as one of the most successful film stars in the world. Many of his films depict and portray Indian national identity, Indian patriotism, and connections with diaspora communities, or gender, racial, social and religious differences and grievances.

Abhishek Bachchan, is an actor, producer, singer, voice-over artiste and an entrepreneur. He has done over 70 films. He won critical acclaim for his portrayal of an angsty young goon in 'Yuva' (2004). Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan was born on December 27, 1965, in Mumbai to legendary screenwriter Salim Khan, who penned many super-hits in the yesteryear's like Sholay (1975), Deewaar (1975), and Don (1978). Khan started his acting career by doing a supporting role in the movie Biwi Ho To Aisi (1988). The following year he had the leading role in the box office romantic hit Maine Pyar Kiya (1989). From there he became a heartthrob of Indian cinema.

Following with other box office hits he showed his terrific performance in Saajan (1991), Andaz Apna Apna (1994), Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! In 1998, he was arrested by the local police from the shooting location of the film Hum Saath-Saath Hain (1999), for killing protected wild animals and spent about a week behind the bars. The actor is facing trial in three cases of killing blackbucks and Chinkaras and another of illegal possession of arms. In September 2002, Khan had hit the headlines after he crashed his Land Cruiser near the American Express bakery in Bandra, killing one man and injuring others.

Being known for those roguish behaviors, he tried to balance his troubled life with his career. He gave his emotionally charged performance as playing an obsessed lover in In Your Name (2003) that translated into good reviews and a good run at the box office. He not only managed to revive his career but also to restore the confidence of his producers and distributors alike.

His work was noticed internationally in the moviePhir Milenge (2004) where he played the role of an AIDS patient. It was well appreciated by the World Health Organization (WHO) for presenting the problems of AIDS patients in today's world.

In 2007, he launched Being Human - Salman Khan Foundation. This charitable organization aids the underprivileged in areas such as education and health care.

More recently, he starred in the multiple record-breaking box office super-hits Dabangg (2010), Ready (2011) and Bodyguard (2011).

Imran Khan, born Imran Pal, has worked as an actor in the Hindi film industry. He is also a social activist and filmmaker. Khan's father is a software engineer who studied at IIT Bombay, and his mother is a psychologist. His mother is the daughter of famous director-producer Nasir Hussain, sister of Mansoor Khan, and cousin of actor Aamir Khan.

Khan studied at Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai and Blue Mountain School in Coonoor. He later followed his Principal to join Gurukul, a school in the jungles of Ooty. He then attended Fremont High School after he moved in with his father in Sunnyvale, California.

While training at the Mumbai Academy, he met writer-director Abbas Tyrewala and bagged his first movie. He made his debut with the romantic film Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na (2008) alongside Genelia Deshmukh. The movie was produced by Aamir Khan, and he played the lead role of young college-going Jai 'Rats' Singh Rathore.

The film did well commercially, earning Rs.830 million (USD 10 million), and Khan got recognition from the masses and critics. He even won the 54th Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

He then appeared in Sanjay Gadhvi's thriller Kidnap (2008), produced by Dhilin Mehta. He starred alongside Minissha Lamba and Sanjay Dutt. While the movie was not a commercial success, Khan was appreciated for his strict performance.

He was then featured in Luck (2009), also starring Sanjay Dutt, Shruti Haasan, Mithun Chakraborty, and Danny Denzongpa. The movie was directed by Sohum Shah and was again produced by Dhilin Mehta. In the movie, which was inspired by Intacto (2001), he played the role of a young boy Ram Mehra, who desperately needed money, and would do anything for it.

In 2010, he was offered I Hate Luv Storys (2010) by Karan Johar. He plays the role of Jay Dhingra, a Casanova who doesn't believe in love. The movie was a commercial success, earning Rs. 725.2 million (USD 9.1 million) at the box office, and Khan's performance was applauded.

In 2010, he starred in another romantic comedy, Break Ke Baad (2010), with Deepika Padukone, which was directed by Danish Aslam.

The following year, he played Tashi in the English black comedy movie Delhi Belly (2011). He co-starred with Kunaal Roy Kapur, Poorna Jagannathan, and Vir Das. The movie earned a domestic revenue of more than Rs. 550 million (USD 6.9 million), and Khan received critical acclaim for his performance.

In the same year, Khan appeared in Ali Abbas Zafar's movie, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011), with Ali Zafar, and Katrina Kaif. This movie also turned out to be a success and earned more than Rs. 578 million (USD 7.2 million).

In 2012, he played architect Rahul Kapoor in Shakun Batra's debut film Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012) alongside Kareena Kapoor. The romantic comedy did well at the box office, earning approximately Rs. 530 million (USD 6.6 million).

Khan did three movies in 2013. The first one was Vishal Bhardwaj's Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola (2013), with Pankaj Kapur and Anushka Sharma.

His next film was Milan Luthria's sequel, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai Dobara (2013), with Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha. His third movie that year was Gori Tere Pyaar Mein! (2013) with Kareena Kapoor.

After a gap year, he starred opposite Kangana Ranaut in Nikkhil Advani's Katti Batti (2015). This movie marked his last release.

In 2018 he directed a short film, Mission Mars: Keep Walking India (2018).

Besides movies, Khan was a part of Eve Ensler's play, The Vagina Monologues, in 2009. The event was to raise funds for an acid-attack victim, Haseena Hussein.

He has also been featured in several advertisements like Coca-Cola, Bru, Levis, Maaza, and Lux.

After a ten-year relationship, he married Avantika Malik in January 2011.

Farah Khan Kunder is an Indian film director, choreographer, writer, film producer, and actress with an extensive career in Hindi films. Khan studied at St. Teresa's Convent School, Mumbai, and then later studied sociology at St. Xavier's College, Bombay.

Khan's first movie as a choreographer was Kahan Kahan Se Guzar Gaya (1981). She entered mainstream Hindi cinema as a choreographer in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992) and gained fame with her choreographed song in the movie Virasat (1997), for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Choreography for the song Dhol Bajne Laga.

Some of her other award-winning choreographed songs include Bombay Dreams (2004), for which she got nominated for Tony Awards for best choreography, Idhar Chala Main Udhar Chala from the movie Koi... As an actress, she starred in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), and appeared in a small role in Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003) and Om Shanti Om (2007). After doing a few cameo roles, she was seen as the lead actor in Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi (2012).

Her directorial debut was Main Hoon Na (2004), starring Shah Rukh Khan and Zayed Khan. She then directed Om Shanti Om (2007), Tees Maar Khan (2010), and Happy New Year (2014).

She has appeared as a judge and co-host in several TV serials. She started with Indian Idol (2004), where she was the Judge in Seasons 1, 2, and 7. In 2006, she judged Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (2006) Season 1.

Then in 2008 and 2015, she also judged another dance show, Nach Baliye (2005) Season 4 and 7. In 2010, she was one of the judges for Dance India Dance: Li'l Masters (2010). In 2012, she did the show India's Got Talent (2009) Season 4 as a Judge.

In 2015, she co-hosted Bigg Boss Halla Bol: Farah Khan Replaces Salman (2015). In 2020, she was the interim host of Khatron Ke Khiladi - Made in India (2020). In 2022, she also hosted The Khatra Show (2019).

Sanjay Dutt, son of Nargis and Sunil Dutt, was first featured in Rocky (1981), the movie was a box office hit.

Anees Bazmee was born on November 1, 1962 in a remote town of Modasa in Gujarat, India. Born to an Urdu poet Abdul Hameed 'Nerang' Bazmee and housewife Khatoon Begum, he realized his cinematic inclination at a very early age. He started working as a Child artist at the tender age of 12 and showcased his acting chops in films like 'Bhayanak' and 'Kitab'. He was greatly applauded for his portrayal of young Shatrughan Sinha in 'Naseeb'.

Poetry and lyricism courses through his blood and he credits his father for passing his hold over words to him. At age 13, in the year 1976, he landed in Mumbai to follow his dreams of being a filmmaker. He dabbled in a number of jobs in his initial years viz, art direction, editing and sound recording to gain hands on experience and knowledge about the workings of the industry and filmmaking. He worked as an assistant writer to some of the most prominent writers of that time mainly Mr Ravinder Pippat and Jainendra Jai. His consistent hard work and belief in himself turned this desire into reality when in 1982, he worked alongside the legendary actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor in the film 'Prem Rog' as an assistant director. In 1990, the film 'Swarg' starring superstars Rajesh Khanna and Govinda marked Anees Bazmee's debut as a screenplay writer. A certified box-office hit, the film received critical acclaim for its spectacular writing. He was soon engulfed by writing projects and delivered consecutive hits, each one bigger than the last, like 'Shola Aur Shabnam', 'Raja Babu', 'Aankhen', 'Deewana Mastana', 'Bol Radha Bol', 'Laadla' and 'Mujhse Shaadi Karoge', to mention a few. He has earned the title of being the most prolific writer among his generation, penning over 60 films in Hindi, Tamil and Marathi across varied genres including comedy, romance, suspense, thriller, action, etc.

In the year 1995, his long overdue aspiration of being a full-fledged director was fulfilled. He wrote and directed the box-office success film 'Hulchul' which starred Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Vinod Khanna. In 1998, he delivered his next blockbuster 'Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha', once again starring Ajay Devgn and Kajol. The film 'Deewangee' followed in 2002. In 2005, he created a revolutionary wave in Indian Cinema with the comedy film 'No Entry'. This film permanently marked him as one of the most accomplished directors of recent times. The following years saw him breaking records with hit after hit movies like 'Welcome','Singh is Kinng' and 'Ready', to name a few.

However, he became widely recognised for his second movie Heyy Babyy (2007), a comedy film starring Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, and Vidya Balan. The movie was a commercial success, grossing 51.56 crores worldwide. Khan was also nominated at the 14th Screen Awards for Best Debut Director for his film Heyy Babyy (2008).

Khan continued his success streak with his next two comedies, Housefull (2010) and Housefull 2 (2012), featuring a star-studded cast. Housefull (2010), featuring Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, and Riteish Deshmukh, earned Khan a nomination for the Zee Cine Awards (2011) for Best Director, while the film won the Stardust Awards (2011) for Best Film - Comedy or Romance.

Indian filmmaker Rohit Shetty is well-known for his high-octane films with breath-takin action scenes and exciting storylines. Golmaal Returns (2008)' is the sequel of Golmaal: Fun Unlimited (2006), which was released in the same year, 2008. 2010 saw the filming of both Golmaal 3 and the critically acclaimed action-film Singham (2011), in which Ajay Devgn starred as a police officer fighting injustice. Prakash Raj's portrayal of the villain Jaikant Shikre stood out, and the IIFA awarded him Best Performance in a Negative Performance. After the movie came out, it was praised for its great action scenes and acting.

Up next for Shetty was the comedy-drama Bol Bachchan (2012), which starred Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgn- the film was warmly received in India, and it fared well at the box office. He then went on to helm the film Chennai Express (2013), starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, the following year. At its release, the film had become the highest-grossing Bollywood film in India and the third-highest-grossing Bollywood film worldwide.

Shetty started his own production company, Rohit Shetty Productions, around 2014. Their filmography included the sequel Singham Returns (2014) and the blockbuster Dilwale (2015), the latter marked the much-anticipated reunion of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.
