People that deserve Emmys

A list of great actors and actresses that deserve Emmy's but unfortunately were never recognized. Most of these people have never even been nominated for an Emmy despite doing incredible work. And I'm sure that I'm missing a bunch too.

1. Walton Goggins

Actor | Justified

In the past few years, Walton Goggins has had pivotal roles in films by two of Hollywood's most important auteurs: Quentin Tarantino and Steven Spielberg. His integral role as 'Chris Mannix,' a southern renegade who claims to be the new sheriff of Red Rock in Tarantino's THE HATEFUL EIGHT, marks ...

The Shield never received any love at the Emmy's which was ridiculous - it's one of the best written TV shows in my opinion. Walton did outstanding work on The Shield as Shane, especially in the series finale. Now he's on FX's "Justified" as Boyd Crowder and is amazing there as well.

2. Katey Sagal

Actress | Futurama

An extremely gifted and versatile performer adept at both comedy and drama, actress/singer Katey Sagal became a household name in the late 1980s as the fabulously brazen, undomesticated Peg Bundy on the enduring Fox series Married with Children (1986). During its lengthy run, she received three ...

Most know her as Peg Bundy from Married with Children, but she does incredible work in a serious dramatic role on Sons of Anarchy. She has never been nominated for an Emmy on any role and I simply don't understand why.

3. Annie Wersching

Actress | 24

Annie Wersching was born on March 28, 1977 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA as Anne Wersching. She is an actress, known for 24 (2001), Bosch (2014) and Castle (2009). She has been married to Stephen Full since September 6, 2009. They have two children.

An amazing actress who did incredible work on 24. She entered the seventh season of an established television show and was welcomed with open arms by the fans. Deserved a supporting actress nomination for Season 7, and I thought for sure she'd get one for Season 8, but nope.

4. Timothy Olyphant

Actor | Justified

From Timothy Olyphant's first screen appearances, such as his two-minute bit in The First Wives Club (1996), to "Nicko", whose presence at times dwarfed the island in A Perfect Getaway (2009), he has been a force to be reckoned with.

Born in Hawaii, Timothy David Olyphant was raised in Modesto, ...

Another dude that's awesome and has never been nominated. Just watch Justified and you'll see why.

5. Dennis Haysbert

Actor | Far from Heaven

Dennis Haysbert was born on June 2, 1954 in San Mateo, California, USA as Dennis Dexter Haysbert. He is an actor and producer, known for Far from Heaven (2002), 24 (2001) and Now and Again (1999). He was previously married to Lynn Griffith and Elena Simms.

Incredible actor who was amazing as David Palmer on "24". Never even got a nomination.

6. Ed O'Neill

Actor | Married with Children

Ed O'Neill is an American actor best known for playing Al Bundy on Married with Children (1986), the most iconic working class character on television since Archie Bunker. Upon his debut on the world stage in Youngstown, Ohio on April 12, 1946, he was christened Edward Philip O'Neill, Jr. Both his ...

Al Bundy from Married with Children was a legend, and his character on Modern Family is awesome too. In fact, he was the only person from the main cast of Modern Family not to be nominated for an Emmy. Not sure why they are snubbing this dude.

7. Danny McBride

Actor | Pineapple Express

Danny McBride was born on December 29, 1976 in Statesboro, Georgia, USA as Daniel Richard McBride. He is an actor and writer, known for Pineapple Express (2008), Vice Principals (2016) and This Is the End (2013). He has been married to Gia Ruiz since October 9, 2010. They have one child.

Eastbound and Down on HBO. Something about his character, even though he's a complete dick to everyone, you root for him. McBride totally sells the character.

8. Kyle Chandler

Actor | Argo

Kyle Chandler was born in Buffalo, New York, to Sally Jeanette (Meyer), who bred dogs, and Edward Chandler, a farm owner. He is of German, English, and Irish descent. Kyle grew up in the small town of Social Circle, Georgia (population 4,500). On the family farm, the only TV station they got was ...

After many years, he was finally nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series (for Friday Night Lights) but lost.

9. Connie Britton

Actress | American Ultra

Connie Britton began playing country music fading sensation Rayna Jaymes in Nashville (2012) after having wrapped production for the five season long Friday Night Lights (2006) alongside Kyle Chandler. She previously appeared in Universal's Friday Night Lights (2004) -the movie- directed by Peter ...

Like Kyle Chandler above, she was amazing in Friday Night Lights. She finally got some recognition with an Emmy nomination in the final year of the series, but again like Kyle she lost.

10. Peter Krause

Actor | Six Feet Under

Peter William Krause was born on August 12, 1965 in Alexandria, Minnesota. Both his parents were teachers, and he has a sister and brother. He was raised in Roseville, Minnesota. He graduated in 1987 from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, with a degree in English literature. In ...

Nominated a few times for Six Feet Under, but never won. He does great work on NBC's Parenthood too.
