Cinderella is probably the most beloved and retold fairy tale of all time. It captures the hope that everything will turn out as it should be and that true love conquers all. The story is very dear to my heart, possibly because I sometimes tend to lose faith. The Slipper and the Rose and EverAfter are two of my all-time favourite movies and I secretly wish I can add Kenneth Branagh's adaptation to that list in the future.

I'm not very fond of the recent teen adaptations, hence I did not include them in this list.

Projects that are announced, but not yet listed on IMDb: Godmother: The Secret Cinderella Story (optioned book by Carolyn Turgeon).
