In no particular order, the following features a list of TV shows I cannot get enough of. These shows have the unique ability to keep me tuned in, eagerly awaiting the episode that follows. [I dunno if this matters but, I'm a 21-year-old American female.]

1. Dexter (2006–2013)

By day, mild-mannered Dexter is a blood-spatter analyst for the Miami police. But at night, he is a serial killer who only targets other murderers.
Best. Show. Ever.
2. True Blood (2008–2014)
TV-MA | 55 min | Drama, Fantasy, Mystery
Telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse encounters a strange new supernatural world when she meets the mysterious Bill, a southern Louisiana gentleman and vampire.
While I'm not usually into films or series involving "supernatural" creatures, I gotta admit - True Blood is a very entertaining show.
3. United States of Tara (2009–2011)
TV-MA | 30 min | Comedy, Drama, Romance
A woman struggles to find a balance between her dissociative identity disorder and raising a dysfunctional family.
I know a lot of people like to give Diablo Cody a lot of sh*t, but this show is awesome.
It's like an onion: the more layers you reveal, the better it gets.
4. Nurse Jackie (2009–2015)
TV-MA | 27 min | Comedy, Drama
A drug-addicted nurse struggles to find a balance between the demands of her frenetic job at a New York City hospital and an array of personal dramas.
Edie Falco is perfection.
5. Shameless (2011– )
TV-MA | 46 min | Comedy, Drama
An alcoholic man lives in a perpetual stupor while his six children cope as best they can.
Love. This. Show.
I'm so relieved to see something that ISN'T a celebrity reality TV series, a police procedural, medical dramedy or series about a bunch of deluded housewives, overtanned losers or whiny Disney kids.
If William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum are snubbed for awards, I will punch someone in the face!
6. Criminal Minds (2005– )

14. The Golden Girls (1985–1992)

Four previously married women live together in Miami, sharing their various experiences together and enjoying themselves despite hard times.
Every Monday night is the only time I can stand watching WE (Women's Entertainment).
16. Grey's Anatomy (2005– )

A drama centered on the personal and professional lives of five surgical interns and their supervisors.
(A serious guilty pleasure.)
17. Sasuke (1997– )

100 competitors test their skills against physically and mentally demanding four-stage obstacle course.
(Ninja Warrior as it's known to those with G4) - I LOVE this show!

For those who are unaware, I Survived is a series that airs on bio (with syndicated episodes on A&E) that tells the stories of survival and the victims who've overcome.

I was a diehard fan until JT died. After that, I gave up. (True fans of the series know what I'm referring to.)
26. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990–1996)

A streetwise, poor young man from Philadelphia is sent by his mother to live with his aunt, uncle and cousins in their Bel-Air mansion.
The first show with a theme song I've bothered to learn.
32. Veronica Mars (2004–2007)

36. Arrested Development (2003– )

What the f*ck was Fox thinking canceling this masterpiece?!
39. The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008–2013)

I haven't seen this in AGES, though.
40. Family Matters (1989–1998)

Long-running Perfect Strangers (1986) spin-off series centering on the Winslow family and their pesky next-door neighbor, ultra-nerd Steve Urkel.

The daily trials and tribulations of Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor, a television show host raising three mischievous boys with help from his loyal co-host, loving wife, and eccentric neighbor.
After they pulled this from Nick at Nite, I was through.
42. Saturday Night Live (1975– )

A famous guest host stars in parodies and sketches created by the cast of this witty show.
It depends who's on, though.
43. SpongeBob SquarePants (1999– )

44. The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (2002–2006)

A young boy, who happens to be a genius, lives in a small town with his family and friends and often gets into crazy adventures with them involving the things he invents.

46. The Boondocks (2005–2014)

Based on the comic strip, Huey and Riley move away from the city and out to the suburbs with their irascible grandfather. Biting socio-political commentary ensues.
48. King of the Hill (1997–2010)
TV-PG | 30 min | Animation, Comedy, Drama
A straight laced propane salesman in Arlen, Texas tries to deal with the wacky antics of his family and friends, while also trying to keep his son in line.
THAT'S MY PURSE! - Love this show.
50. The Cleaner (2008–2009)
60 min | Drama
A guy transforms his life by taking control over his addictions and using his story to help others.
The first season was AWESOME. Second season? Eh.
