One of my favorite romantic movies. It seems like it is going to be another sappy romance with lovely songs and technicolor vistas--and then it catapaults you into another world. And then, yes, it does turn into a romance with gorgeous pictures of India, and beautifully choreographed dance numbers. But the interplay of duty and love makes this a very different movie.
