The movie is an excellent comedy, made from a husband/wife relationship(s), which gets soured due to real life events. Husband gets busy in his profession and wife is bored (Madhvan/Kangana relationship), or family has high expectations like wife should have a child from an impotent husband (Jassi/Payal relationship). The new character of lawyer Chintu is quite funny. Raja Awasti (Jimmy Shergil) rules his role. The best acting is by Kangana who does an excellent role of a Delhi University athlete (as Kusum). The dialogues are excellent and so is the film direction. There are no unnecessary songs to slow down the pace of the movie.
A very good movie to watch for. Such movies are full entertainment for a family.

Excellent plot and nice acting. Such kind of suspense based love stories were quite popular in 70s. The movie shows true love between Vijay and Aarti. The bank robbery shot is excellent.
The lead actor is actually a relative of legendary Devanand. The songs are excellent. They are mostly sung by Kishore Kumar, the legendary singer of 70s. Title song was a superhit and was played on "Binaca Geetmala" (a popular radio weekly song program) for many time. The movie was also a hit of 1978.
The dress and colour codes of 70's made the show even better. The beginning and climax of the movie is quite impressive.
