Liv, Clive and Ravi investigate the suspicious death of the head of a successful traffic app company. Meanwhile, Peyton focuses on positive zombie PR in the city.

Liv, Clive and Ravi investigate the suspicious death of Cornell Piercey, the head of Piercey Corp, a successful traffic app company. Melissa Schultz, Cornell's ex-girlfriend, is now running the company, makes an interesting reveal to Liv and Clive. Meanwhile, Peyton is focusing on maintaining positive zombie PR in the city. Lastly, Blaine is intrigued when he meets Al Bronson of Bluster Magazine, as she is not at all what he was expecting.

Seattle PD investigates the poisoning of tech mogul Cornell Piercy, who was working on a human re-population project. Blaine invites Al, a zombie writer working on his upcoming magazine profile, to a soiree. The investigation leads Liv and Clive to Sheldon Drake, a local businessman and zombie bigot. Using Piercy's brain, Liv realizes that he offered to sell his company's user data to Drake in order to fund his project; Clive finds poisonous mushrooms in his backyard and has him charged and arrested. Liv and Major hire recently unfairly fired zombie teacher Mr. Moss as 'ophanage tutor', but the zombie supremacists who took the 'executed' guards out of cryo and shot the uncooperative one kidnap Moss as a mole in Renegade's operation. A vision lets Liv deduce that Cornell's former lover Melissa killed him and framed Drake to stop him from using the data to find and kill zombies. Al finds evidence of Mayor Baracus's murder in Blaine's office and secretly investigates him.—KGF Vissers
