In 1963, military industrialist Arthur Blackmark and a Soviet commander must race against the clock to stop an international nuclear incident which threatens to fire up the Cold War and end the world.

Agent Larson interviews the dissident Anya Popolovski to know the whereabouts of former CIA Agent Timothy Daniels. She tells that in 1963, a Soviet missile is sent to the United States to begin a nuclear war. Daniels, who has been living in the Soviet Union for more than five years, succeeds in destroying the missile in the last minute. Nikita Khrushchev claims that his system was hacked and demands USA to withdraw missiles from Turkey in 72 hrs.. Meanwhile, Daniel, who was assigned to assassinate Anya's father, Commander Alexi Popolovski, receives a counter-order to bring his family and he to the United States.
