Repressed virgin Charlotte Hawthorn joins the university from a Catholic school with a fencing scholarship. She shares the room with Nicole and tells her that her mother died and she is alone. Charlotte has thalassemia and is forced to use medicine. She gets a job working as waitress in a coffee shop managed by Chris.
