Poison Ivy: The Secret Society is the fourth movie in the Poison Ivy series, preceded by La mia peggiore amica (1992) (1992), La mia peggior nemica (1996) (1996), and Violet - La nuova seduzione (1997) (1997). The screenplay was co-written by Liz Maverick, Peter Sullivan, and Michael Worth.
It's not necessary. The main character in the first movie was named Ivy, a girl named Lily moved into Ivy's old room and took her identity in the second movie, and Ivy's sister Violet is the main character in the third movie. However, Poison Ivy: The Secret Society is a stand-alone movie with no connection to the first three, other than the fact that the main character, Danielle Brooks (Miriam McDonald), goes by the flowery nickname Daisy, and the name of the group of girls she hangs out in college is called the Ivy's who all have names of flowers, e.g., Daisy, Azalea and Magenta.
Insatiable by Elise Estrada
When Daisy realizes that Azalea (Shawna Waldron) set her up for the murder of Professor Graves (Greg Evigan) and that she was hand-picked by the Graveses to bring down the Ivies, she decides to do to the Ivies the one thing that they taught her: if someone eggs your house, burn down theirs. She apologizes to Azalea for betraying the Ivies and Azalea tells her how the Ivies staged the "accidents" that killed Alexis Baldwin (Lindsay Maxwell) and Professor Graves, not knowing that Daisy is taping her confession on her cellphone. When Azalea finds out, she attacks Daisy. Their fight leads them out to the pool where Azalea tries to drown Daisy. When Azalea thinks she's won and Daisy is floating face down in the water, Azalea begins to climb out of the pool, but Daisy rises out of the water and pulls her back in. Azalea hits her head on the railing and passes out just as Elizabeth Graves (Catherine Hicks) and the police arrive. As they pull Azalea out of the water, Daisy turns on her tape of Azalea saying, "When you're an Ivy, you can get away with murder." Daisy returns to Iowa and seeks out Will (Brendan Penny), who is unloading fence posts from his truck. She informs him that she's back home for the summer but that she'll be going back to Beckshire in order to utilize her four-year scholarship. She kisses Will and promises that "we'll figure it out as we go...together." The final scene is a shot of Daisy's ivy tattoo to which she's added a daisy.
