Descrizione

  • Eric decides to take the gang for a Styx concert on Thanksgiving night. Hyde and Angie cannot go since they have to set up the new record store. Kelso is out as he finds Angie hot and wants to ogle at her at the new store. Donna is a DJ and refuses to be seen at a Styx concert, plus it is also in her contract with the radio station. Fez hates Styx.

The gang minus Eric helps Hyde and his sister install a record shop, but he doesn't even know it already has dad's chain's name, Grooves. The gang decides to have their pot circle inside the new store.

Hyde creates a place inside the record store, where customers can relax, and listen to their music in a comfortable setting, before deciding to buy it. Donna points that the area looks just like Eric's basement. Angie wanted to install a soft rock station, which Hyde puts in the back. Angie has been waiting since she was eight to do it exactly her way, business-school approved. Hyde agrees to remove the pit, but wants an entire wall dedicated to Zeppelin. Angie says that people over 30 are scared of Zeppelin, which is OK with Hyde, as he reckons people over 30 move to Florida anyways.

Then she realizes she forgot to order bins for the actual records and is in tears as she wants everything to be perfect. Angie agrees to Hyde's terms if he provides a hundred bins. The store layout would be his way (The listening pit comes back, and he gets the Zeppelin wall) and no smoke detectors in the back office. And Fez gets to hold her hands for 2 minutes.

The trouble is that it is Thanksgiving night, and everything is closed. They need a 100 record bins by midnight. Donna thinks of stealing milk crates instead. Donna distracts a milkman by hugging and kissing him, to give the gang time to steal the crates. When William asks the next day about the crates, Hyde covers for Angie and says that crates look cool. In exchange he wants black lights, bigger speakers and a 5 day weekend.

Meanwhile Eric has been camping overnight at the ticket counter to be early at the Styx tickets sale, but actually is the only buyer. Both Kelso and Fez fail to steal Styx vinyl from the record store, while trying to hide that they actually like Styx.

When Kitty realizes she may not have her baby-boy at the Thanksgiving table (none of her kids are coming as Laurie is in Canada and Hyde is at the store), she threatens not to make her famous yams, an absolute must for Red. Red stops Eric from going to the concert as he cannot see Kitty crying. Eric and Bob are commandeered to attend, but then foul language kills the mood, attention shifts to Eric's too vague future. Eric claims that he is too afraid that he will amount to nothing. Red is sick of this dilly dally and gives Eric 6 months to figure out a career, or he will pick one for him.

Angie goes on a date with Kelso.
