Trama

Chris defends Marc Vereeck, who stands trial for murder. Marc caught an intruder during the night who threatened him with a knife. Marc hit the man with a baseball bat. The intruder, a colleague citizen guard, died during the incident. Chris pleads for self defense, but the prosecutor has some strong arguments. There was no knife found at the scene of the crime and Marc's wife Mia had an affair with the victim. In the mean time, Hugo discovers someone tampered with Mia's alarm system.—Rune Thandy

At night, Marc Vereeck gets up, having heard a noise, and fatally uses his baseball bat on fellow neighborhood vigilante Bruno Waesbeke, whom he failed to recognize, having seen a knife blink. He failed to mention he caught Bruno having sex with his wife Mia. Bruno's brother Wim is involved with the installation of doctored alarm systems. Chris constantly bumbles, emotionally and naively, while lover and detective Hugo keeps saving her bacon. Meanwhile closet-gay show celebrity Andy Devries's manager Vic Verboven hires Gabriel to sue a magazine which exposed Andy for a retraction. Fearing for his own reputation, Gabriel demands Chris pleads the case, but she keeps missing court appointments.—KGF Vissers
