Cdr. Imes never passed a bar exam; she goes on trial for fraud and conduct unbecoming; Sturgis prosecutes, and Mac and Bud defend. Harm flies as a crop-duster. Coates tries to get the admiral to take Harm back. Harm and the admiral meet.

It has come to light that Cdr. Carolyn Imes had never passed a bar exam. She goes on trial for fraud and conduct unbecoming; Sturgis prosecutes, and Mac and Bud defend. Mac asks Harm for his help in the Imes matter, and she continues her relationship with Webb, who causes the CIA to fire Harm for his involuntary appearance on worldwide TV. Catherine Gale turns up pregnant. The fixed-base operator at Harm's airport has changed hands, and Harm meets Mattie, the 14-year-old daughter of the ostensible new owners. Harm and Mattie find common areas of interest; Mattie hires Harm for crop-dusting. Harm visits Catherine's mother, and he makes an unsuccessful attempt to start a relationship with Catherine. PO Coates works hard to persuade the admiral to take Harm back. The admiral gives an invitation to Harm, and Harm takes Mattie flying and gives her an invitation.—DocRushing

Fired from the CIA (after he was seen on ZNN in "Touchdown"), Harm takes a job as a crop-duster. He meets Mattie, a 14-year-old tomboy and owner/operator of "Grace Aviation". Mac and Bud are surprised when a former colleague, who returns to JAG as Harm's replacement, reveals that her law credentials are fake. The Admiral asks the Secretary of the Navy to reinstate Harm's commission due to the massive backlog created from Commander Caroline Imes' failure to pass the bar exam and having to review all her previous cases.

Harm is shocked to find that his life is making another unplanned turn, when he is notified that he is fired from the CIA for being inadvertently shown on the cable news network ZNN carrying a young girl after landing on the USS Seahawk. Unemployed once again, Harm takes up crop-dusting to pay the bills. At JAG, Commander Carolyn Imes who once worked at HQ-JAG (when she was a Lt. Cmdr), is brought back to HQ from overseas duty to fill the vacancy created by the departure of Cmdr. Rabb. But its Bud and Mac who are shocked when they learn that their old colleague falsified documents and has been practicing law without passing the Bar Exam. And Catherine Gale ""shocks"" Harm with the news that she is pregnant.
