Blooper

(at around 10 mins) Eddie pulls up at Barbara's apartment and parks behind a gray Ford. When Barbara drives off a few minutes later, Eddie's MG is missing, but the Ford is still there.

After the girl walks past, while Eddie and Carl are talking, Ralph's position relative to the other two changes with each shot. When Eddie is talking, Ralph is behind Eddie's left shoulder squarely facing Carl. But when Carl is talking, Ralph is behind Carl's right shoulder squarely facing Eddie.

Near the beginning of the film, when Eddie sits down to lunch at work, he begins to unwrap his sandwich twice between shots.

Driving after the bank robbery, no one is wearing seat belts. Eddie is supposedly an experienced race car driver. No race car driver would drive like that without wearing seat belts.

Seat belts were not required on cars sold in the U.S. prior to 1968, and driving at excessive speeds on an isolated road, even a dirt road in poor condition, would not be considered the same as racing on a track in close quarters with many other racers.

Barbara tells Eddie she goes to the beach "just above Malibu". That covers miles of beach, but Eddie manages to park right next to the small stretch of beach where she happens to be.

When Steve is showing Eddie the map, he says they are on the beach in Santa Monica. However it has already been established that the house Steve is renting is in Malibu (or "just above Malibu" as Barbara said).
