They build replicas of the Enigma machines and manage to get two of the machines to the British and French code-breakers before the German invasion of Poland in 1939 and ask that recognition be given to their work at the end of the war. After the invasion, the Polish cipher bureau escapes and continues their decoding in Algeria and unoccupied France. Despite being tortured, they refuse to divulge their knowledge of the Enigma to the Germans.

Ruffo rose to surfing fame as the first champion of the Coldwater Classic in 1985 and still to this day continues to surf at a professional level. With the success came partying, with partying came addiction, and with addiction came consequences. Anthony is currently facing a potential five-year prison term for alleged distribution of methamphetamine. His court date is May 9th, 2011.
