Sit back and enjoy as you get to learn more about who they are, and that in the end, no matter what career or vocation we do, we all have similar traits and shows us the human side of these people who we admire on screen. The show is published online and accessible on Amazon Prime, YouTube, Spotify as well as in audio format on all major platforms worldwide including Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, TuneIn and Alexa, Spreaker, Heartradio, Spotify and more.
- Yulia is a Russian actress and filmmaker based in the UK. She is known for her roles in the upcoming film "Gender" as well as appearing in blockbuster Final Score, and TV Series Trapped. - I chat with French actress and film maker Jenna Suru, who is currently promoting her first outing as writer with L'Age D'Or which is being shown at film festivals including Cannes. Jenna is passionate about her work and also the sixties music.
- I chat with author John Logsdon about his multiple series of comedy fantasy and comedy sci-fi books such as the Ononokin series which is as if Terry Pratchett was infused with Monty Python, through to Platoon F, a SciFi series Think Terry Pratchett meets Monty Python whilst flying in Airplane and being assisted by Frank Drebin of Naked Gun. as are the Paranormal Detective series and also Queen Arthur., which he co-writes with Christopher Young. John is a man of multi talents who also voices his own creations for Audible. This is a long one (oo er) but worth it, as I had many laughs throughout talking with this excellent author and person.
- 2015– Episodio TVDom Lenoir, Tatjana Anders and Alexa Waugh talk about their latest films. Tatjana has just completed her first film, a short film entitled "Your Reality" which concentrates on some extremely important issues in which she has personal experience. Another fantastic storyteller passing on a message to people, Tatjana both produced and played the lead role. In "I Love my Mum", a young boy and his mum accidentally get shipped to Morocco in just their pyjamas. What follows is a fun, fast paced journey as the two of them traverse through Europe making their way back home to London. Produced by Dom and Alexa, who both talk enthusiastically about their new film and the trials and tribulations of filming on a budget and pretty much taking the same journey as the film's principals. Fantastic fun, sit back, relax and enjoy.
- 2015– Episodio TV"Just A Girl' is a short film about a troubled, young, deaf woman who is desperate to be heard when she falls in love with a local hero. You will hear her story, even if she can't" This is the tagline for the new short film from Claudia McKell which tackles hearing loss and how people react. Claudia is a young, motivated film maker who has started her own film company too, which empowers women in film. Michael McKell is an established actor of stage and screen with credits including Emmerdale, The Bill, Eastenders through to feature films such as Allied, Winter Ridge and 13 Graves, where he filmed alongside Jacob Anderton, a young enigmatic British actor with a host of credits and who co-stars in Just a Girl.
- Jus Sargeant came to my attention when I started listening to the books of (former guest) John P Logsdon and Christopher P Young. The books are fantasy comedy, based in the made up world of Ononokin and focus on various characters who co-exist there, from little giants, to wizards, elves, gnomes and more. Jus narrates each one with exquisite talent, creating the perfect voices for each character. Not only has just narrated these, but he is also multi-linguist and former teacher of English as a foreign language, putting his voice to multiple grammar and other language books for German, Spanish speakers. With over 80 books narrated so far, Jus is proving himself as one to watch (or listen to).
- Born in Venezuela, Fernando started out body building and after moving to the US ended up running his own gym by age 20. However, he felt something was missing and he was not following his dream of being an actor. He pursued this by attending classes and working very hard. He caught a break when he was cast in Bad Boys 2 where he had a really positive experience with both director Michael Bay and its lead Will Smith, who he described as being the most humble of people. Fernando has an impressive list of credits, having appeared on many major Latin American shows where he played a wide range of characters. Fernando told me that he likes to select his roles carefully. In our interview we focus on his leading role in the Venezuelan horror film The Whistler (original title: El Silbon). The film is based on Venezuelan folklore and although it is in Spanish, you do not need to know the language. It is subtitled, however, the film has been made in such a clever way it spans international boundaries and language. Sit back and enjoy this interview with a really great guy and an actor you will be seeing more of.
- Luke Guldan is a US actor who has been building up an impressive list of credits. I first talked with him in 2017 about the film ADDicted, and now welcome him back to catch up about his ventures and the new film he is in - "The Creatress" which stars Lindy Booth. Luke plays Seth, an interest of the main character. About the Creatress: The movie has its UK premiere on 4th October at the Courthouse in London's West End. Young, bestselling author Eryn Bellow concludes her bookstore tour with her agent selling film rights and closing a six figure advance for her follow-up. Headwinds arise as critics get offended by the claims that Eryn is being declared a living literary legend. The storm gathers force as the assaults gravitate from bad reviews to a fake-memoir designed to obliterate her from the field. Through the noise, Eryn attempts to write her way out of the public fray, and reclaim her voice in the minds of her readers. Along the way, she hopes to prove a happy ending is not always a bad thing.
- The Creatress, a new film out by Jason Scott, distributed by Film Volt Media, has it's UK red carpet theatrical release on 4th October in London. It's a drama/comedy (or dramady) centering around the life of author Eryn Bellow (Lindy Booth). Francis is a young American actor who plays Brad, one of the key roles and love interest of Eryn. Francis is no stranger to the screen with a list of great credits, including appearances on The Orville, by Seth McFarlane. I chat with Francis about The Creatress, John Lennon's cell toilet in the Courthouse in London, The Orville and many many more. A great guy and a lot of fun.
- The Creatress, which has it's UK theatrical release on October 4th is a comedy drama about a bestselling author who seeks literary revenge against a critic who authors her fake memoir much to the delight of her agent (p[layed by Fran Drescher). Lindy Booth stars as Eryn Bellow, the author and the film was written and directed by Jason Cook. This fascinating candid interview sees Jason talking about his inspirations in making the film, the struggles of writing and projecting them into a relatable story. Lindy talks about taking the role, the amazing script as well as her admiration of Tia Carrere from Relic Hunter and the hijinx on set of The Librarians, as well as knocking me into tears of laughter at her response to my signature question.
- After a short hiatus, Hellblazerbiz returns with a bang. Emily Swallow is an accomplished actress of both stage and screen, having started her acting on stage. Her love and passion for the art is evident in the way she talks of her days treading the boards and experiences she has had in the many various shows and voice artist roles. Emily is known for her roles as The Darkness on Supernatural, a being older than time itself, freed after being locked away for millenia by God, which is now on its 15th and final season. She is also the Mandalorian Armourer in the highly successful show The Mandalorian, which is taking the world by storm. The character is fantastic. Emily is also on screen as Natalie, the physiologist, on SEAL Team, brought it to look after the well being of the team but soon becoming entangled in romance with Bravo One, Jason Hayes, played by David Boreanaz.
- Once in a while you talk with someone truly inspirational. Will Chesney is one of those. Will served 13 years in the US Navy, 11 of which as a Navy SEAL. He has seen combat around the globe including 4 tours of Afghanistan. The book No Ordinary Dog tells of Will, but more importantly, of Cairo the SEAL dog. Cairo was much more than a service dog. He was a beloved member of the SEAL teams and Will was his dad. Cairo is most famously known for his heroic role in the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden, but he did so much more, including going back on active service after being shot and saving Will's life in retirement, when Will was going through an extremely tough time through injury, both physical and mental. An amazing story of a dog who was, quite simply, No Ordinary Dog.
- Kenny Johnson is a US actor best known for his roles as Dominique Luca on CBS's hit show S.W.A.T. Kenny has been in many hit films and shows during his career, including many favourites of mine such as The Shield, Bates Motel and Chicago Fire. Listen as Kenny talks about his personal reasons behind the story in SWAT focussing on dyslexia and his passion for making the best product possible and working with excellent people. Listen to Kenny talking of how his daughter was so focussed and ended up with a part she was determined to get, as well as working with her in SWAT. Don't forget to hit like and subscribe.
- Soundtrack to Sixteen is a new British coming of age film, but rather than your typical Hollywood heir of heiress, it focusses on two main characters growing up in London in the Noughties. However, it could be any era as I watched the film and felt a connection to one of the main characters, in how things were for me at that age, and the experiences I had. It is a sweet and funny film, adding lots of humour and brilliant writing, expertly carried out by the actors. This interview with Anna and Hillary Shakespeare, who co-wrote it, produced and directed as well as Scarlett Marshall who plays Maisy, talks about the film making process, the emotions and feelings of cast and crew throughout and reminiscing on childhood.
- Actress Susan Gallagher joins me on Hellblazerbiz to talk about her role as "Homeless Lynn" on the hit show Cobra Kai. We talk about her dedicated audition for the role, how it feels to act alongside Ralph and William and being part of the Karate Kid universe and fandom ( so much so, her sassy character Lynn has her own dedicated Facebook page!). We talk about the importance of family and stay to the end to find out what kind of muppet Susan would be.

- Matt Lewis is an extremely accomplished actor of both stage and screen as well as teaches the craft. He has appeared in many top shows, such as Dynasty, Ozark and the hit show taking the world by storm - Cobra Kai. In the latter, he plays Ron, the chairman of the All-Valley Karate Championship, made famous in 1984 in Karate Kid, where Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) had his decisive grand final win over Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). Matt's character is a beloved' character who appeared in season 1 of the show and who is hoping to return. Matt is very passionate about the art and craft of acting in this excellent conversation.
- I welcome back actor Dustin Lewis to Hellblazerbiz. Dustin is a brilliant actor who also teaches the Meisner acting technique at Drama Inc in Atlanta. Dustin has appeared in many shows including Sleepy Hollow, Ozark, The Resident and more recently Cobra Kai, where he plays Mr Palmer. Dustin and I chat about all things acting, with his love of stage as well as on screen. We chat about the brilliant show Cobra Kai and how it teaches us to not be judgemental and understand that people can be going through things that you would never know about. We also talk about Avenue Q with my bad impressions of Trekkie monster, Kermit, Donald Duck and Goofy. You have been warned. :)
- 2015– Episodio TVShaun O'Connor is an established writer/director. He is a passionate artist, who has fantastic vision for his work. We have a great chat about his inspirations for the film and how he and writer Paul Cahill brought the tale to life.
- 2015– Episodio TVI chat with esteemed actor Corey Reynolds. Corey started his acting life in theatre, touring with Saturday Night Fever amongst others. He has a long list of on screen credits too, ranging from parts in NCIS LA, SEAL Team amongst many more as well as a long running main part in The Closer, where he even had a muppet made of him for an episode of Sesame St. He is currently in our screens in Resident Alien where he plays Sheriff Mike Thompson, an intriguing character who seems to have self esteem issues. Corey tells of his passion and love for this series, the comedy that goes on off camera and how forward thinking and talented show runner Chris Sheridan is in leading the excellent cast and crew. Apologies for not having dual screens on this one, it was the first time recording via iPad and seems something did not work right.
- 2015– Episodio TVJulio Martino is no stranger to film. Brought up in the environment of a film rental shop owned by his father, he always had an interest in the genre. He built on this and focussed more on directing rather than acting, and studied and worked his way to become an accomplished director in theatre, directing performances in both UK and Chicago. Country of Hotels is his film debut and he describes the transition between stage and screen and details the differences between the two. This was a fascinating insight into the world of directing of theatre and film, with some brilliant behind the scenes information about his film.
- 2015– Episodio TVJesse Kove is an established and successful American actor who has a myriad of credits to his name. Having got interest in the entertainment industry at an early age, performing skits for his family and visiting film sets with his father (Martin Kove aka Karate Kid/Cobra Kai bad guy John Kreese). He has racked up some very good roles, one of his most memorable starring alongside Joseph Fiennes (Shakespeare in Love, Enemy at the Gates, The Handmaid's Tale) in Wings of Eagles, an unofficial sequel to Chariots of Fire. Filmed in China and follows the incredible story of Eric Liddell. Jesse has recently been seen on Netflix which brought him to the attention of a whole new fan base. In Cobra Kai he plays David, a high school jock who is the bully of the younger Kreese. Ironically he plays the bully rather than of the younger version of the character his father plays so well. We chat about his experience and his absolute love for the show and the nostalgia it brings. We also find out what muppet he would be, with a big clue being that Jesse loves cookies.
- 2015– Episodio TVI finally got the chance to sit down and have a one to one chat with the great actor Jeff Kaplan after we did chat on the group chat I had back in March with 12 Cobra Kai cast. Jeff and I caught up about what is has been like being in the worldwide hit show, the experiences he has had on set with being slapped by William Zabka to his huge admiration for the Big Three - Josh, John and Haydn. We also talk about his entry to the Savannah 48 hour film festival, where you are given certain criteria very last minute and have to make a film in 48 hours. It screens online 8pm 27th October. Tickets available from eventbrite.
