- Pooch the Pup wants the hand of a lovely lady, but her guardian says no. When a bull gets loose, it's up to Pooch to save the day and his lady fair. Great music from the early '30s, including the hit "Lady of Spain," and, out of nowhere, a little segment with Mills Brothers lookalikes singing "Hold That Bull."
- A combination of two fables. The Old Lady lives in a run-down old shoe with all her children. Her son Jack climbs a giant beanstalk grown from magic beans and returns home with riches. They all live happily ever after in a beautiful high-heeled shoe.
- As with other Cubby cartoons an extended musical number precedes the story action. Cubby is first seen on a sled, pulled by three squirrels, through the frozen north. On the sled is a mail bag. Arriving in a frontier town he is welcomed, turns over the mail bag to the local postmaster and meets up with Honey whom he calls Cuddles. They dance to a lively tune then it is time for Cubby to head out with the mail. On the trail he finds Honey has stowed away in the mail bag just about the same time a robber raccoon spots them. Cubby defends the mail and Honey but is knocked unconscious. With the help of a "rescue bird" and an eagle Cubby confronts the robber winning back the mail and Honey.
- After being caught with the bullfighter's girlfriend, Flip must face the nasty matador and the even meaner bull. One gang leads spontaneously to the next one. The bullfight starts like a wrestling match between the matador and the bull, but before it's over, it's become a football game, basketball game and human cannonball act.
- Singalong with spot gags about forest animals. Mr. Sun goes down, Mr. Owl perches in his tree with his songbook. He leads and has all the forest creatures singing and playing music. After a couple of choruses, Mr. Owl suggests: "Why don't you all join in? Just follow the bouncing ball."
- Harry Hound is reading "Hot Dog," his favorite magazine, featuring "Bridgit Bardog." His owner gives him orders: "Go out and bring back a fox or out you go." Nearsighted Harry hires a guide to take him on a fox hunt, but the "guide" turns out to be fox who is also a game warden. The fox teases Harry.
- Panning and scanning over tenement windows, we move down to street level to find a chubby dog singing. Various animal residents throw things at him, trying to stop the singing, until he is buried. He pokes his head up, and a lump from his head becomes the bouncing ball, over a field of concentric hearts. The now-crying dog drags a rock tied to a cord around his waist, as he writes a suicide note. Sal, in a hat with a flower, dances over the lyrics, morphing until she is nude, except for a grass skirt. Dancing under the palms, she is stopped by the police department.
- An orange sparrow saves his bird scout troop from certain death at the hands of a Jekyll and Hyde cat.
