Jamie Foxx, Jon Hamm, Eiza González, and Ansel Elgort in Baby Driver (2017)

Trailer of the Week: Baby Driver

Sure, it doesn't feel wholly original, but the trailer for Edgar Wright's pet project makes us feel like the tough guyness of Drive was channeled through John Waters' sense of humor. And its SXSW premiere was electrifying. Plus, has Jon Hamm ever looked more take home-able?

Photo of the Week: The Carey-Cannon Family at the Kids' Choice Awards

This is what we call conscious uncoupling, and we love that Nick and Moroccan Cannon dressed like vintage Nickelodeon VHS tapes.

Josh Gad and Luke Evans in Beauty and the Beast (2017)

On-Set Story of the Week: Josh Gad Battles His Beauty and the Beast Horse

Sure, we are exceedingly excited to see a Disney classic return to the big screen, this time with real-life characters. But we loved hearing first-hand about Josh Gad's most challenging memory from filming the live-action movie.

David Giuntoli

Casting News of the Week: David Giuntoli Heads to Space

As huge fans of The Martian, we were excited to hear that David Giuntoli is set to star opposite Poppy Montgomery in "Mission Control," the CBS drama pilot from "The Martian" author Andy Weir. Produced by Simon Kinberg and Jeremy Podeswa, the series will follow a group of NASA astronauts and scientists who juggle their personal and professional lives during a critical mission.

Christine Baranski and Cush Jumbo in The Good Fight (2017)

Renewal of the Week: "The Good Fight" Renewed For Season 2

Although Alicia Florrick's seven-year saga ended in 2016, we were not ready for "The Good Wife" to go and were thrilled when a spin-off was announced. If you ever thought "The Good Wife" needed more F-bombs and even more timely and provocative subject matter, then you need to be watching "The Good Fight." Christine Baranski and Cush Jumbo remain as Diane Lockhart and Lucca Quinn. Series newcomer Rose Leslie ("Game of Thrones") joins the cast as fledgling lawyer Maia Rindell.

James Franco, Seth Rogen, and Emma Watson in This Is the End (2013)

Throwback Movie Still of the Week: Emma Watson in This Is the End

When we think back on Emma Watson's career, Hermione Granger obviously comes to mind. As we looked back at her career in anticipation of the premiere of Beauty and the Beast, we're reminded of her already varied career, which includes a surprise appearance in This Is the End.

Metropolis (1927)

Anniversary of the Week: Metropolis Turns 90

March 13, 1927 marks the US release of Fritz Lang's futuristic drama Metropolis. If Lang's iconic robot, The Machine Man, seems familiar, it was used as inspiration for Ralph McQuarrie's early concept paintings of C-3PO.

Edward James Olmos in Blade Runner (1982)

More Awesome Casting News of the Week: Edward James Olmos Returning for Blade Runner 2049

First we get Harrison Ford reprising Deckard, and now we get Gaff! Edward James Olmos confirmed his return, albeit only a small one, as he told "TheTrendTalk," "My role is like it was in the original [1982 film]. That time I only had four scenes. In this I only have one. But again, it's a poignant little scene."

We'll gladly take what we can get! Here's hoping it involves more unicorn origami-folding.

Colin Jost and Michael Che in Saturday Night Live (1975)

TV Pick-Up of the Week: "Weekend Update" Spinoff Ordered at NBC

Since we can't have enough satirical news in our lives, we love that NBC announced Tuesday that it is giving a four-episode order for "Saturday Night Live: Weekend Update," a 30-minute primetime version of the "SNL" Weekend Update segment, to launch Thursday, Aug. 10. Current co-anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che will handle hosting duties. Other "SNL" cast members are expected to make cameos.

Dan Stevens in Legion (2017)

Marvel-ous Renewal of the Week: "Legion" Renewed for Season 2

Despite the fact that Season 1 hasn't yet concluded, FX has already renewed "Legion" for a second season. Be sure to check out Dan Stevens ("Beauty and the Beast" and "Downton Abbey"), Rachel Keller ("Fargo"), and Aubrey Plaza ("Parks and Recreation" and "Safety Not Guaranteed") in this Marvel-Comics-based story of David Haller, a troubled young man who may be more than human.

Jude Law in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017)

Poster of the Week: Jude Law as Vortigern in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword

We're hoping Jude Law taps into his "Young Pope" outrageousness to become villain of the year in Guy Ritchie's attempt to revitalize the sword and sorcery genre. Regarding the poster, we love Law's slightly chapped lips, steel-wool gaze, and hooded chainmail top.

Marriage of the Week: Alison Brie and Dave Franco Tie the Knot

We were glad to catch up with Alison Brie and Dave Franco at the Sundance Film Festival, where we learned more about their latest movie The Little Hours. But we're even happier to hear that the acting couple, engaged since 2015, is now married.

Eric Wareheim, Aziz Ansari, and Noël Wells in Master of None (2015)

TV Tease of the Week: "Master of None" Announces Season 2 Release Date in New Teaser

Last we left off, Aziz Ansari's character Dev parted ways with his girlfriend and hopped a plane to Italy to study pasta-making. Now Aziz is cruising the hillsides of Italy in the Season 2 teaser. It is unclear how much of Season 2 will take place in Italy but we are excited to go along for the ride.

Housemates of the Week: The "New Girl" gang

After six seasons, we're still enjoying Jess and crew in their antics-heavy Los Angeles loft in "New Girl." But to be sure, they're not the only group of housemates who've made for good TV viewing over the years.
