Officer Dan Shay(David Cassidy) roams the streets of downtown LA in the 70's to find a serial killer whose been targeting young prostitutes trying to make it in the entertainment business. A young Heather Thomas has just recently arrived to the LA scene hoping to make it as a professional model. Young, attractive and penniless with big dreams - Thomas could end up becoming the killers next victim.

Jimmy and Greg attempt to help Count Blah get over his sense of loneliness of his deceased wife by taking him to a singles bar. However, things go unexpectedly crazy after Count Blah ends up having a one night stand with Warren's wife (Marilu Henner) who strikes up a conversation with him at the bar. Meanwhile, Allison believes Jack is psychotically stalking her after she refuses to allow him to accept a acting job portraying a psycho killer.

Like Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali in the 60's, Greg the Bunny is recruited by a fanatical puppet cult called the 'International Puppet Allilance' run by a powerful and persuasive puppet named Hurbada Hymena. Greg becomes a willing celebrity puppet spokes person for the groups radical puppet ideology, which in turn, creates an increasingly difficult work environment for Greg and his fellow cast and crew mates of 'Sweetknuckle Junction'.

The cast and crew of 'Sweetknuckle Junction' observe in shock and confusion after wrongly assuming that Jimmy is involved in a high speed chase with the LA PD after Corey Feldman steals Warren's car that Warren loaned to Jimmy so he could complete all of his daily errands for the cast and crew. Greg is an unwitting passenger in the stolen vehicle during Feldman's desperate attempt to evade capture by the police.

Attempting to improve her like ability factor the shows producer Allison surprises everyone after arriving at a party, at a local bar, that's being thrown by her fellow cast and crew mates of 'Sweetknuckle Junction'. Warren later urinates in Allison's car out of personal revenge because, he believes Allison turned down his idea to allow him to perform a Shakespeare'n monologue at the beginning of the show, after Gil pretends to pitch Allison the idea at the bar. Meanwhile, Greg the Bunny, who's passed out in the parking lot garbage cans manages to regain consciousness long enough to witness Warren piddle into Allison's car through the sun roof and later threatens to rat out Warren if he doesn't confess to Allison.

Greg the Bunny is plagued by nightmares lately for replacing Rochester Rabbit as the star of "Sweetknuckle Junction". So, to rid himself of his personal demons Greg embarks on a mission to find out whatever happened to Rochester after he was fired and to apologize for replacing him. However, after discovering what a pathetic loser Rochester has become, Greg attempts to make amends by getting him a job on the show. Meanwhile, Jimmy (Seth Green) starts flirting with Susan Monster in hopes of making Alison (Sarah Silverman) jealous.

After the 'Sweetknuckle Junction' cast and crew attend a focus group of children critiquing the show, Alison Kaiser (Sarah Silverman) decides the show needs a hip new young make over and believes Jimmy Bender's (Seth Green) ideas are perfect for the shows new relevant and cool appeal. Jimmy's father Gil Bender (Eugene Levy) disagrees.

The shows producer Alison Kaiser (Sarah Silverman) is surprised by the sudden arrival of a female reporter for TV Guide (Sasha Alexander) who is there to do a "behind the scenes" article on the cast and crew of 'Sweetknuckle Junction'. Aiming for the show to be a featured article in TV Guide, Alison desperately pleads with all the cast members to put their best PR faces on for the reporter, in order to represent the show in the best possible light. Meanwhile, Greg and Jimmy compete for the affections of the female TV Guide reporter.

While on the studio lot, Dottie is suddenly approached by a struggling actor Leo Cornelli (Michael McDonald) threatening to release a video tape on the internet of Dottie stripping if she doesn't get him a job for the part of a Singing Mailman on the show.

Greg the Bunny successfully prods his slacker buddy Jimmy (Seth Green) Bender to ask his dad (Eugene Levy) the director of a cable children show 'Sweetknuckle Junction' for an off camera office job. However, Greg is mistaken for a actor and ends up auditioning for the lead in the show after Rochester Rabbit is fired after failing to correctly deliver his lines due to his drinking issues.

Vincent Edwards is the weeks host and begins the show by singing, "A Fellow Needs a Girl", "Lulu's Back in Town" and "Maria" solo. Then, the Rogge Sisters perform an acrobatic routine by walking around on top of giant rubber balls, while the audience tries to decide if this even qualifies as a routine. A young Joan Rivers then does a stand-up comedy act. And, Liza Minnelli performs "Where Did You Learn to Dance?" and "There Is a Time", immediately followed by, Vincent Edwards and Liza Minnelli dueting, "Everything I've Got Belongs to You". Next up, is Bertha and Tina, a trained elephant act, followed by, Bette Davis doing a dramatic reading of a Dorothy Parker poem. The show ends with Vincent Edwards doing a solo of, "Ida".

Host, Adam West sings "The Orange Colored Sky" (not very well either) while fully decked out in his Batman outfit as the dancers flopped around like super villain henchman. Adam West then does a Batman parody before introducing the brilliant slapstick comedy of the Landon's Midgets. Performed by actual midgets. Next, while Adam is dressed in normal dress attire, he introduces Joey Heatherton, who sings, "By Myself" while performing with the shows dancers. Next, Adam West introduces a young beardless George Carlin as the stand-up routine.

Don Adams is the weeks host that first introduces the huge star of 'I Dream of Jeanie' in 1968, Barbara Eden who performs the weeks big production number, "Big, Beautiful Ball" with the shows dancers. Immediately, followed by a commercial selling Raleigh cigarettes. Arte Johnson then performs a comedic act, with host Don Adams, as the character of Rozmenko, a Russian entertainer who sings "Mame" in faux Russian. The Brothers Castro (singers from Mexico) appear next to perform, "Michelle", and, "Por Usted". Then, Don Adams plays a lawyer known as "The Big Mouthpiece" in a comedy monologue. Next, The Dovyeko Company (acrobats from the Moscow State Circus) acrobats walking on stilts. Next up, Janis Joplin with Big Brother and the Holding Company perform, "Summertime", followed by, "I Need A Man to Love". The show ends with reporter Arte Johnson interviewing coach Leon Football, Don Adams, in a comedy sketch.

When Gene Kelly was first booked for the show he said to the writers that he didn't just want to do 'Singin' in the Rain'. The writers turned Gene's request into a running gag for the show, and much to Kermit's dismay, Gene Kelly insists on just passively watching the Muppets do their "thing" from the wings of the stage. But of course, the Muppets get their way in the end, and Gene performs a few numbers while backstage with Kermit and the gang, including the song 'Singin' in the Rain'.

Holli believes that the wife of a policeman who was convicted for the husband's murder before Holli was the medical examiner and who recently escaped from prison acts in a way which suggests the woman might be innocent.

When Mack attends a reunion of prep school friends at a hotel where Holli is coincidentally on a romantic getaway, some of his friends are murdered for which infidelity or business betrayal could be the motive.

Harvey Korman is the main guest star with a part in nearly every script. Carrol O'Connor makes two appearances in the show, a small role as a CBS Censor, then later his biggest appearance the "All in the Family" parody opera to finish the show. Terri Gar and Steve Martin make small appearances too, along with a quick cameo by Glenn Ford. Cher sings her classic "Gypsy, Tramps and Thieves" then later vamps it up with "She Was A Vamp" segments with some halfway decent scripts.

"All In the Familius", Carroll O'Connor is the weeks featured guest star, while Robert Merrill is featured as Archie Bunker in an operatic satire of the popular sitcom All In The Family. With Cher as his wife Edith, Sonny as his son-in-law Mike, regular Teri Garr as his daughter Gloria, and Harvey Korman playing both priest and rabbi. Carroll O'Connor appears as the CBS censor, sent by the network to clean up the show. Steve Martin is in the ensemble.

The panel, with Steve Allen filling in for Bennett Cerf, tries to guess the lines of a professional frog catcher for expensive restaurants who is the size of a professional wrestler,a female hand painter of men's shorts as well as the identity of celebrity mystery challenger Walter Winchell.

Panelists Dorothy Kilgallen, Bennett Cerf, Arlene Francis and Hal Block begin the show by trying to guess the line of a man from the Bronx, NY who pickles herrings. Next, the panelists try to guess the occupation of Russian man who's a professional knife thrower. Amazingly, Arline Francis was able to determine the mans line fairly quickly. Afterwards, it was onto guessing the identity of the weeks much anticipated celebrity mystery challenger Vic Damone, once again Arline was able to identify the challenger rather quickly. Finally, they end the broadcast by trying to guess the line of a man from Cincinnati, Ohio who makes dog houses.

Panelists Dorothy Kilgallen, Bennett Cerf, Arlene Francis and Hal Block begin the show by trying to guess the lines of an aging African-American man from Columbus, Ohio who's the chairman of the parole board. Then, the panel tries their luck at guessing the lines of man from Wilmington, Ohio who raises bugs for research. Finally, the four attempt to guess the identity of celebrity mystery challenger Edward R. Murrow, eventually Arlene Francis correctly identified the week's mystery challenger.

The panel tries to guess the lines of a sweet southern bell from Charlotte, North Carolina who's a professional dynamite tester, a female boxing glove maker, as well as the identity of celebrity mystery challenger Cesar Romero.
