- 10 years have passed since legendary F4 members Tsukasa Domyoji, Rui Hanazawa, Sojiro Nishikado and Akira Mimasaka have graduated from Eitoku Academy. Since their departure, the school has been on a steady decline. Correct 5 is formed at the high school with Haruto Kaguragi (Sho Hirano) as the group's leader. They are worried about the school's steady demise. They decide to find deadbeat students and kick them out of the school. Haruto Kaguragi likes ordering stuff that makes him look bigger physically. He uses his butler's name for his online orders and receives the items at a convenience store. Oto Edogawa (Hana Sugisaki) works part-time at the convenience store. She also attends the same school as Haruto Kaguragi. Oto Edogawa is actually from a poor family, but she pretends to be from a rich family to fit in at school. Her fiance is Tenma Hase (Taishi Nakagawa) and he attends a rival high school.
- Set six months after Naotake (Hidetoshi Nishijima) learned the truth behind his wife's death. Naotake works for the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Public Security Bureau, but feels worn out. Ryota (Teruyuki Kagawa) quit the police force due to his distrust of the department and now runs a private detective office. An occupation and explosion case takes place simultaneously with an embassy attack. The attacks are orchestrated by crime planner Takayanagi (Yusuke Iseya) and assassin Gondo (Tori Matsuzaka) under the name of mysterious figure Daruma (Takeshi Kitano).
- In a peaceful village, the mayor, seeing that the population is bored with tranquility, invents the mystical figure of Rajeh, and tells stories to villagers about the exploits of Rajeh, who kills and maims and steals. One day the mayor (Nasri Shamseddine) tells the villagers that Rajeh is heading to the village itself and they better be careful. Two smart men notice that the mayor was lying and that it is all his imagination. So they go on making good on the fictitious person and steal money and assault the mayor in the dark saying that they were Rajeh. Eventually, an old man with the name of Rajeh arrives in the village, amid public fears. Then it became obvious that Rajeh was merely a seller of rings for weddings and he wanted to marry his son to Fairuz the nephew of the mayor. The two bad guys willingly go to jail for making use of the mayor's joke.
- A woman's young son is kidnapped and the only clue to his disappearance is a note starting with the words "This is a quiz." What follows is a fast-paced and stylish whodunnit which leads chief investigator Kaoru Kiriko of the Special Investigation Team down a trail of increasingly perplexing riddles that all the while seem to mock the efforts of the police. Street-smart Kaoru may be the kidnapper's intellectual match, but as she gets closer to her mark, she finds herself becoming the hunted rather than the hunter.
- Misaki, a sophomore transfer student arrives at Yokosuka High School and decides to join the Brass Band Club having heard of its prestigious past from her father, a former member. However, after her entry, Misaki finds that much has changed and the club is now full of dull and inactive students. Misaki determines to do her best to return the club to its glory days, but she must help many of the students overcome their personal problems. It all seems too daunting for Misaki to take on herself, but when she meets Yuki, a gifted sax player at the local US Army base, she recruits her, and together they gradually bring the club and all of its members to life.
- Shu is a senior at a low-ranked university. Kotomi is a struggling model. Keiko has a desk job at a small company. All of them are former classmates from junior high school. All of them are not satisfied with their current lives and want to find something better but can't seem to. Reflecting many of the conflicts and anxieties of today's youth, these three turn to each other for support to find the meaning in their lives for which they are searching.
- Hiroshi Kataoka (Masaharu Fukuyama) works at a bank. He receives a promotion to manager of the Kamata branch. He is also informed that the Kamata branch will be shut down and he does not have to work hard. After the branch's shutdown, he will work again at the bank's headquarters. Hiroshi Kataoka is embarrassed by the situation. He sees the branch employees work hard and they do not know the branch will close. Hiroshi Kataoka is conflicted between his job and his employees.
- Yuji is a twenty year old boxer who makes ends meet by working part-time at a flower shop. Although he works beside her everyday, he hides a deep affection for Kaori, the manager of the shop. Tohko is a sincere and active young woman that works at a local crepe shop. Her initial meeting with Yuji in a video store ends quickly with both ridiculing the other's video selections. However, Tohko notices him training in the park and falls in love with him instantly after seeing this serious and determined side of Yuji. Her persistence brings her to his debut-boxing match, but as she cheers for him she soon realizes his heart belongs to Kaori.
- Two teenage boys from starkly different backgrounds find themselves joined in a common search to discover how to do the right thing and find happiness in life. One boy, whose father is an alcoholic, works hard to care for his younger brother and sister, while the other enjoys the privileges of a wealthy family, but is starved for his father's love. Their friendship reflects the sadness, pain, and sometimes cruelty that can enter into the relationships between fathers and sons in today's society.
- Cheap love is about Nanami, a teacher, and Junichi who is a scout for nightclubs. Nanami lives a boring life preparing to get married to a boring man. When she meets Junichi she sees a chance of doing something exciting, but she did not think of falling in love. Also Junichi falls for the woman and it is the first time he believes that he can be worth for more than nothing.But a lot of things happen and of course, it is not that easy for them to be together and it always seems that they will not be able make it. But maybe there is a happy end after all?
- Kagura Akane (Horikita Maki) is the only daughter of a family who runs a teppanyaki place in downtown Tokyo. Akane had always been proud of her father Tetsuma, who was called the "No.1 teppanyaki chef in Japan." Growing up in such an environment, she naturally acquired "teppanyaki skills." However, when her mother died of illness, her father lost his energy to work and disappeared. Since then, Akane has managed and protected the restaurant all by herself. One day, out of the blue, she is visited by Erena (Katase Nana), the rich daughter of a major food company, who orders Akane to move out at once because her father had borrowed money against his restaurant. Though feeling disappointed, Akane makes up her mind to close the store. But when her father's friend, Kurogane (Jinnai Takanori), shows her "Ittetsu," a grilling plate that Akane's father cherished, it reignites her passion towards teppanyaki. In order to protect the restaurant, she embarks on a journey with Shinta (Tsukamoto Takashi) to search for her father, but wherever she goes, she ends up getting involved in culinary battles.
- As a former gang member, Ichiban was witness to the worst side of the emergency medical system and vowed to become a doctor to change it. With the aggressive passion he learned on the streets, Ichiban has worked his way to becoming a no-nonsense emergency medicine resident. But it is this same passion that he must learn to control when confronted with a situation that is beyond his help.
- Seri, an unknown yet talented female chef from the country, arrives in Tokyo to work at French restaurant, Etoire, but discovers that they have gone out of business due to the departure of their main chef. Together with the restaurant's former manager, she opens a French restaurant of her own and begins to recreate the flavors her late father mastered as a famous gourmet chef. Unfortunately, Etoire returns with an unscrupulous manager, and to make matters worse, Seri learns that it happens to be owned by her birth mother living in Paris who she hasn't seen since she was a child. Seri wonders if her passion and skill will be enough to succeed.
- A dark melodrama about a woman whose life descends into a downward spiral due to love, ill fate and recklessness. It's 2006. The dead body of 56-year old Kawajiri Matsuko, is found in a downtown apartment where she lived alone. Asuka is surprised that she had an aunt by the name of Matsuko. Her father tells Asuka to clean up Matsuko's place. In Matsuko's trash-filled room, Asuka discovers a photograph.Why did someone, surrounded by her family looking so happy, have to be killed? Asuka starts to follow Matsuko's life. It's 1973. After graduating from a national university, Matsuko became a junior high school teacher. During a school trip, she covered up for a student who was caught stealing. But she suffered disgrace for her actions and was expelled from school. Driven into a corner, Matsuko choked her physically weak sister Kumi to death and fled from the house she was born and brought up in. Matsuko's father, Kozo, always doted on Kumi while he was severely strict with Matsuko. However, this was just the beginning of the downfall of a woman named Matsuko Kawajiri.
- All hell breaks loose at a local high school when a very effete men's tumbling and rhythmic gymnastics club is suddenly joined by a gang of the school's "baddest" boys, and proceed to make believers out of everybody around them. Casting a spotlight on the Japanese-born sport of men's rhythmic gymnastics, Tumbling is an uplifting and inspirational passion-of-youth drama about true friendship, dreams and the wonders of hard work. In fact, all the actors underwent rigorous gymnastics training so they could perform their stunts. But will they all be tumbling like pros by the end of their dramatic run?
- Former pro boxer Gondo Tetta has come to Kaki-no-ki-zaka High School as a beginning teacher. The school hopes to restore finances by improving the students' abilities and strengthening its baseball team. Tetta goes head-to-head with his class full of failing students who have no ability whatsoever in sports and studies. Everyday, he passionately encourages his students who have no drive at all. School is not just a place to study. It's a place to learn how to live. If it means helping out his students, Tetta won't hesitate to snap at the parents and school. Gondo Tetta's slightly dangerous class is about to begin.
- Tetsuo Nagai is a probation officer. His job is to rehabilitate young offenders and get them on the straight and narrow. Married with one son, he lives a happy life. All that changes one day when his wife is murdered and his son is gravely injured in an attack. Nagai wrestles with the assailant, but he escapes. Nagai takes his son to the hospital run by his father-in-law, but his son is again attacked and left in a coma. Nagai is interrogated by police detectives and finds himself the chief suspect due to the emergence of a number of pieces of unfavorable evidence. Is someone setting him up? At the verge of giving up, he is struck by another option - he becomes a fugitive, striving to prove his innocence and find the real killer while his son hovers at deaths' door.
- Kurosawa, who works for a film production company, meets Akiko, a divorcee and single mother who works at a publishing house. Through the efforts of Akiko's son Naoya, they fall in love and decide to get married. The good news continues with Kurosawa becoming an assistant producer and Akiko's parents offering to make the down-payment for their apartment. However, things go wrong when the ever-generous and sometimes naive Kurosawa helps a respected friend by co-signing on his financial obligation. A warm and occasionally wacky comedy for the whole family.
