The Story tells us from Tom, he is gay, he is chatting with other gay boys over the internet, but he would never admit it in front of others. By coincident he finds out, that Nikias - one of the cool guys in school, who mob Tom - likes to have sexual contact with boys as well. To be more accurate: Tom finds Nikias having sex with another guy on a couch. And on top of that, there is this very cute boy from the candy shop...

The lives of two lesbian couples intersect in the oppressive urban corridors of Tokyo when one of the partners enlists the services of another to document her suicide in a defiant act against physical and mental breakdown. Anonymous Gods, structured in the form of an adult fairy-tale, raises questions about the nature of art, sexuality, family, and dysfunctional relationships in a social-media driven landscape.

During the riots of 1997 in Albania the retired photographer PETRO travels from his hometown Gjirokastra to the capital Tirana. He has taken pictures of a killing with his Super-8-camera and wants to get the film developed. Petro doesn't know that he shot material that shows how a TV-camera causes the death of a man and his granddaughter in order to get a good story. Unfortunately Petro meets this cameraman - BERTI - on the trip to Tirana. When the film is finally developed Petro gets to know the truth - and he knows his life is in danger! After many adventures on the road he tries at last to present the film to the public. But he must realize that the material was stolen. So only Petro knows the truth while the media spread lies about the deaths of Girokastra...

Spun in the form of an extended beat poem, Requiem for Poets and Dogs tells the tale of an eclectic group of homeless rooftop squatters who spend one last eternal day trying to cope with the misery of their existence through humor, fighting, and distraction before facing their inevitable eviction from their beloved armpit of Tokyo.

But swapping mates is not easy with all that group pressure and one's own sense of insecurity ... In a violent clash with the young fascists Tekin 16 a Turkish member of the basketball group is seriously injured. Basti has to face a brutal reality and he has to make up his mind: shall he jump? Or fight?

Shot on location in beautiful Miho Matsubara in Shizuoka, Japan, Unplayed Lullaby tells the story of a mysterious friendship that takes place over the course of five days between the guarded Sae and the uninhibited Sara. Told through magical realism, extended takes, powerful performances and photography, together they discover revelations about trauma, family, growing up, and what it means to be a mother, wife, friend, and daughter in an increasingly distant society.

Competing for 'coolness' the young men become aggressive and take to violence. The cashier, a girl of Turkish origin is seriously attacked although one of the guys seems to have known her closer. On open ending in brutality, flash-backs suggesting the possibility of different turnings and additional material included with the film (as well as interviews with the protagonists) invite classroom discussions on subjects like discrimination against minorities, xenophobia, violence and what to do about that as an individual or in group

Phillip and Marc are two completely different types, at least at first sight. Phillip, a cool scene snob, has a rich background, wears the right clothes, spends a lot of money, a superficial consuming kid of the 90s? Marc, a rather independent type, never has money. Clothes are not important, he buys them in second hand shops, and hip persons for him are only bloody bastards. By chance the ways of these two kids, who seem to come from different worlds, cross. The problems of one of them are not so far away from the others. Especially in that excessive night...
