I tried but I just can't find any compassion for this movie and still sleep at night. The plot is thin and undeveloped. It bills itself as science fiction but has neither science or even fantasy. It is not a fast moving action movie it just sort of leaps, like a drunken frog, from one problem to another. We have a fire here and breakdown there and an insane robot trying to kill them..none of which has anything to do the plot which is something about saving the earth from itself. But they are so busy fighting fires and the robot they forget that and so will you. Sorry movie goer's that is as kind as I can get.

Stallone and Woods are ex CIA commandos who have become opposing forces. Stone is a not so defenseless damsel in distress and you guessed it Stallone comes charging to the rescue. This is not "Gone with the Wind" and if you are looking for it just keep looking. However, if you are a fan of Stallone or Stone and like fast paced action movies go down to the video store now. Stallone and Stone work really well together and they give you a great movie never slows down. James Woods is the Champ of heavys. No one even comes close to his talent for creating evil characters and in this movie he breaks his own record.

Everything in this movie is so real. The attitudes of each other the costumes the setting and on and on. Notice the actors never changed clothes. The tower was spartan just as it would have been. There has not been a movie that packs this level of realism.
