At the end of the movie, the bandage that Kenny puts on George's forehead doesn't entirely cover the cut. In the next shot, it does.

George spends several minutes deciding how best to kill himself, yet the clock on the bedside table doesn't change.

Jullianne Moore's hairdo goes through numerous changes during their evening at her home. Sometimes the curls are tighter and then looser. Once the bang is heavy and then it is lighter.

At the end of the movie, when George on the floor, the position of his legs and feet changes as the camera angles change back and forth.

When George is in front of his class, the ashtray on the desk keeps moving from back to front depending on the camera angle.

The movie is set during the Cuban Missile Crisis, which ended on October 28, 1962. An early title card gives the date November 30, 1962.

A full moon is shown on November 30, 1962. In real life, the moon was a very thin crescent that night.

The white Corvette in the parking lot is a 1963 Stingray. The split rear window was only available in 1963. Production started in 1962, and it could be an early delivery.

When George gets into his car after his lecture, a contemporary Mercedes Benz, the car's leather inner panel looks old and wrinkled.

Kenny uses the expressions "cool" and "blows my mind" during the bar conversation. In the early 1960s, "cool" was an adjective, not an exclamation. "Mind-blowing" came into use in the late 1960s.

Several fonts used did not exist in the 1960s. The university office door signs and the movie's titles use Gotham, introduced in 2000. The bank logo uses Trajan, created in 1989, and Gill Sans, popularized in the US in the 1970s.

The water carafe in the bedroom is made by Danish Rosendahl, and was introduced in the late 1990s.

The single malt whisky George drinks is a 20-year-old North Port from the Rare Malts Series, introduced in 1999.

When George and Charley are dancing to "Green Onions," a crew member is reflected in the mirror.

Near the end of the movie, when Falcon opens the door to view the full moon, a Eurasian Eagle Owl is visible. They're found deep in the forests of Europe and Asia.
