During the trial an 'expert witness', Mr. Willmen, states that doctors have the right to assist their patients in dying in the UK. This in incorrect; it is permissible in the Netherlands however.
At his arraignment John Curry is charged with, among other things, conspiracy in the first degree; however that exact charge does not apply here. Conspiracy in the first degree is when a person, being over the age of 18, conspires with another person under the age of 16 to commit a class A felony. Since the person John is accused of conspiring with is an adult he would be charged with conspiracy in the second degree. Conspiracy in the first degree is a class A-I felony with a minimum sentence of life in prison with the possibility of parole after 15 years; conspiracy in the second degree is a class B felony with a minimum sentence of 5 years in prison and a maximum of 25 years.
While holding a photograph of her son wearing his high-school football uniform, Bobby's mother says her son was "a halfback on the football team," yet Bobby's uniform number was 82. At the time Bobby was in high school (the 1980s or 1970s), the only players who wore numbers in the 80s were wide receivers and tight ends. Halfbacks usually wore a number from 20 to 49, or possibly from 1 to 19, but no running back would wear a number in the 80s; that would be considered embarrassing.
When discussing Bobby Holland's hangouts with Greevey and Logan, Holland's friend Lois tells them he hung out in a bar called Paradise Lost, and describes it as "a place downtown." On the next title card, the address of Paradise Lost is given as West 57th Street - clearly what any New Yorker would describe as "midtown", not "downtown".
