After Patrick tackles Kat during paint ball, he takes off his goggles and throws them behind him, and Kat's also disappear. After they kiss and get back up, they both have their goggles on again.

When Bianca takes Cameron to Kat's room, she opens the third drawer. In the next shot, it's the second drawer that's opened.

When Michael is almost hit by Kat's car, his goggles are up on his motorcycle helmet, but a moment later when he pulls up to Cameron, the goggles are on his face.

The paint on Kat and Patrick's jumpsuits change in different shots.

As Michael makes his way to Mandella at the prom, you see Patrick and Kat spin away in the background. In the next shot, they are still standing there behind Mandella watching Michael approach. In the next shot, they are gone again.

In the end credit, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's name is punctuated as "Joseph-Gordon Levitt."

The credits misspell the Fremont Troll as "Freemont".

The Audio Visual Guy, Eric Reidmann's name is spelled incorrectly in the credits, as Eric Reidman.

The poem that Kat reads in Mr. Morgan's English class towards the end of the film is titled "10 Things I Hate About You". It uses the word "hate" exactly 11 times and actually lists 13 disliked qualities. However, Kat seems to want to lump two things together as one, and the 11th usage is "...I don't hate you..."

When Kat is drunk, and she and Patrick are walking up the hill, after she starts crawling, Patrick calls her "Kate". This is a deliberate reference to "Taming of the Shrew" and "Kiss Me, Kate", when Petruchio intentionally calls Kat "Kate", a nickname Katerina hates.

The hole in Cameron's French book is far larger than Patrick's drill bit could have made.

Bianca announces she is the only Sophomore invited to the prom. Instead of going to the prom with Joey, she goes with Cameron. Bianca runs into her best friend, Chastity (also a Sophomore) at the prom, who announces Joey picked her up for the prom. Some think Chastity could never get a prom dress on such short notice. However, there are many possibilities: Chastity could have an older sister with a dress that also fits Chastity; Chastity could compete in pageants and have gowns on hand; Chastity could borrow a dress from her Mom (some women do attend formal events and own gowns for them), or a neighbor might have had a gown.

When Patrick and Kat are in the pedal boat, though they are pedaling, they do not move.

The pedals in a Pedalo move in unison; when Kat and Patrick are pedaling, their legs are moving at different times.

Just before Joey pulls up behind Kat's car, his red convertible can be seen reflected in the windows across the street as it sits waiting to enter the scene.

In the scene in which the teacher gets an arrow fired into his backside by Bianca, a girl runs off to go find help, however before she runs off camera she stops and looks back, obviously unaware she is still on camera.

When Mr. Chapin tells a student that the boy's eyes are all bloodshot, even though the student agrees, the actor's eyes are clearly not bloodshot at all.

While the band is playing when Patrick is singing to Kat there is a cymbal crash, but the two cymbals never make contact.

When Joey parks his car to block Kat's, he takes his keys out of the car with him, but his music continues to play and the car is idling.

When Michael is nearly hit by the car and goes down the hill, we hear a 2-stroke engine but the motorbike as a 4-stroke engine.

After Michael is almost hit by Kat's car, the reflection of set lights can clearly be seen on Michael's helmet.

When Patrick is using the blow torch in welding class, he is not wearing eye protection glasses.
