Gaffes

(at around 28 mins) When Dan and his friend enter the Crave Inn (where Alice works) we notice that his friend is not the same as the one in the Crave Inn; they used two different actors.

(at around 1h 7 mins) When Alice sneaks out at night to meet Dan at the diner, she grabs a pair of white tennis shoes before she runs out (and you can see her wearing them when she runs around the corner of the diner). A little while later (at around 1h 12 mins), when Alice attempts to run over Freddy with Dan's truck, the foot stepping on the gas is wearing a brown boot with red laces.

(at around 44 mins) After Sheila smears the blood on her paper, it's wet. But in the next shot the blood stain is dried and has changed formation.

(at around 27 mins) When Kristen is talking to the real nurse after bumping her head, her hand is on her head in the wide shot but not in the close-up.

(at around 22 mins) When a headphone cord is unplugged from a stereo, the stereo does not turn off. The stereos speakers would turn on.

(at around 2 mins) In the beginning when Kristen is walking towards the little girl, she is facing her. But when she gets closer she comes from behind. However the scene happens inside a dream and dreams don't necessarily follow logic of movement.

(at around 59 mins) Obvious double when Alice is using the nunchucks in front of her mirror. The actual person is a man or a woman of different build wearing a cheap wig.

(at around 28 mins) When Dan enters the diner looking for Rick, the needle of the record player in the jukebox is on the paper label in the center, not in the grooves, yet the music is still playing.

(at around 25 mins) Kristen is with Alice before school. Kristen lights a cigarette with a match, but it doesn't ignite. She inhales and exhales, but no smoke is visible.

(at around 1h 12 mins) Chain visibly attached to the back of Dan's truck when it gets smashed in by an invisible force.

During Rick's nightmare scene when Kristen is taunting him in the mirror, one can clearly make out the double playing her reflection as she turns to face him. Not only is the double's face visible on slow-mo, but she turns out of sync with Kristen, and she brings the wrong hand up to her mouth.

When Joeys mom pulls back the cover and finds Joey in his bed there is no blood even tho Freddy stabbed him.

The scene where Kristen is in the quick sand one frame you see her arm reached up and her head is completely covered but in the next scene you can see some of her hair.

When Alice wakes up from being pulled into Kristen dream she has a nightgown on and runs out of the bedroom without changing and when they are running up to her house she has jeans on.

When Rick and Alice are running up to Kristen house you can see her window is open but there is no smoke coming out of her window.

(at around 18 mins) When Freddy is resurrected, he is heard saying, "You shouldn't have buried me. I'm not dead," but his lips clearly aren't moving.

(at around 38 mins) During Freddy's first meeting with Alice, he motions to her and says. "Alice, come to Daddy!" but his mouth doesn't match.

(at around 1h 22 mins) When Alice is fighting Freddy in the church Freddy says "I...am...eternal" But it is obvious that he says something else (looks like "forever") because his lips movement doesn't match the word.

(Around 39 minutes) When Alice steps on the burning postcard in her bedroom, a crew member looks into her window from outside and then ducks.

(at around 31 mins) When Rick and Dan are walking up to the Krueger house you can see the film crew trucks parked on the street.

(at around 7 mins) In the beginning when Kristen is driving to Alice's house, the crew and some onlookers are clearly visible at the end of the street. They can be seen just below the rear-view mirror.

If Kristen never gave Alice her power to pull people into her dreams, Freddy wouldn't have been able to have used it to his advantage and have Alice inadvertently bring him new victims, as it's stated Freddy is unable to kill any of the other teens as they aren't linked to his death. It seems like Kristen caused Alice and her friends more harm than good.

When Rick and Kristen walk by lockers, there's big slashes in them, but they don't notice them and there's no explanation as to why they don't.

It's never really clear how Freddy returns from the dead and the badly added ADR line after his resurrection does little to clear things up.

In the previous film 'A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, Freddy had carved the message "COME AND GET HIM BITCH" on Joey's chest. The cuts in his chest were deep enough to have left permanent scars. In the beginning of this movie Joey is shown with his shirt off in his water bed, but he has no scars on his chest.

(at around 31 mins) When referring to the famous Elm Street house, Kristen says, "It's his home," but Freddy never actually lived there.

The lady working at the theater ticket booth is shown reading a magazine but turning the pages the wrong way.

(at around 7 mins) In the beginning when Kristen is driving to pick up Rick and Alice, she egregiously runs a stop sign.
